Freeports should be one of the pivotal arguments in favour of independence - if their potential harm was made known to the Scottish voters, that should make a good few more become in favour of independence. I also believe if the harm that has come from the devolution that Scotland was given was made a matter of public knowledge, people might recognise that devolution will never give Scotland the control over its own. I would never trust anything Starmer says because he has made too many u-turns. I wish Barrhead Boy would pay better attention to their sound quality because they have uploaded videos where you struggle to hear what is said over other voices from something and warning whistles.
Regarding the Freeports, Westminster is setting them up, and in an Independent Scotland those agreements become invalid, and can be ended at the stroke of a pen. As for compensation, that would remain with Westminster, by being the successor State, as it were. It would still be better if they were not put in place though.
Invergordon was a Freeport up until 2012. It very quietly closed down. The fencing and security booth still exist, but the gates have been open since. It’s just a normal port once again, but destined to become a Green Freeport.
The People Interviewing Starmer need to say you are playing games, it is not democratic. There needs to be a reasonable balance of polls. The work is needing done so that people undetstand what is devolved and what is retained, other wise unionists will use it on areas we have no control over. Issues like the cost of living crisis is being used by Pat McFadyen and Labour when it is mostly a UK reserved matter.
This chap wanting to run against JS has also ran for president against, can’t remember his name. Been a long term, old school snp elder gent. The guy running is sick of the party being the way it is, stuck in reverse I think, snp is too establishment now. Ref free ports, don’t worry, we can reverse them and turn them around before applying, joining the EU again. Ref John Swinney, would be interesting to ask him about the issues you raise, very keen to hear more from him. These are the issues that will make me not vote for SNP after Indy.
The SNP people in grey kilts have ensured democracy in Scotland is dead. All the whataboutery of non-elected PMs in Westminster, now we're on another 'Continuity Candidate' !
How the hell can SNP write of on this freeport crap .NO NO NO.
Many thanks again , Gordon.👍. We are Keeping the Faith 💜🏴💜 !!!

Great show again Gordon. Doing catch up again as can't always catch you first time round.
Starmer is part the British state. The clues are there. I thought Salvo were dealing with the route and right to Independence.
They can be dismantled, they were set up before by Cameron but cancelled. Id like to see the UK try and keep them in an Independent state.

It beggars belief that we have to beg for permission to ask ourselves a question
