been using this laptop for 9 months. nothing to complain actually, some hiccups on the control centre at first but gigabyte fixed it and always got 99.3% on 3dmark firestrike stress test.
I have this laptop, with 1440p 165 Hz display. The screen is very good, though the loudspeakers are not. Keyboard is workable, the port layout is well done, sadly no SD slot and no seperated audio in/out jacks. I like the thicker screen bezels as they provide someting to gripe when opening or adjusting the display. Overall, a laptop which is not perfect but works well, even with power mode "Meeting" which keeps the fans in check.
Bought 1 Unit alongside asus i9 12900h, performance is slightly better on the Aorus 13th gen..long battery life..just don't forget to make it at 60% max charging for battery laptop longevity when you plan to keep it at home plugged in.highly recommended laptop!
What do you mean by “just don’t forget to make it at 60% max charging for battery laptop longevity”? Do you mean don’t charge it past 60%? Or don’t let it drop below 60%? Either way, why do you suggest this?
@@stefdezy1562 I mean not to make it fully charged 100% specially if most of the time you're using it only at home and plugged in, for maximum battery health I only keep it charged level until 60% because most of the time it's only at home so battery will not deteriorate on the laptop.. sorry for the late reply man!
I bought this laptop and it's good. However, sometimes there are friezes. The image freezes for a fraction of a second completely. For example, when I open the menu on the bottom right (where there is bluetooth, wifi, etc.). All drivers are new. Hope it gets fixed in the future.

when trying to do a clean windows 11 (or even 10) install from a USB medium, the installer tells me that there is no NVMe device found and so can't finish the installation. I know that the bios tells me there is a PCIe drive installed and I did previously manage to install windows 10, but during an attempted windows 11 upgrade installation, it got stuck in blue screen and cannot install windows again because n drive can be found. I believe that the bios might be corrupted and have downloaded a new one and would like to install/flash it either from within the bios itself or in preboot environment as there is no working windows installed. I cannot find instructions anywhere online for how to correctly do that and definitely don't want to brick my system. Does anybody know the proper procedure I should follow (if one exists) to flash this bios without the benefit of an OS? I would greatly appreciate any info or advice regarding this. Thanks in advance.
hello, good video hopefully and you answer my comment a few days ago I bought mine, but I have had problems with my computer such that the laptop gets stuck for a moment and then the screen turns on,I have also had problems with Wi-Fi such as it gets slow sometimes or suddenly loses the entire network, do you recommend I return it or is there a way to solve these problems. I would appreciate an answer. Thank you
I would try and update all the Gigabyte Control Centre components first. The app includes some vital drivers you need for the notebook. If that doesn't work try and reset Windows 11 to a fresh install. If that doesn't work I would then look into exchanging it. Could be a software or operating system error.

That is a tough one coz that 4K OLED display is far superior. Unless you're looking for a higher refresh panel? The 4070 jump would definitely be worthwhile though. Just need to decide if you want to ditch 4K OLED for QHD IPS.
while the 4070 is faster, I would not consider that upgrade to give up an OLED display. The 1440p display in the Aorus 15 is good but not OLED-good. Even if the display is of no concern, the mobile 3060 is still a quite powerful GPU.
I am thinking of buying the 15x, but confused on a lot of things... Firstly, does it have international warranty, im getting from US to india, secondly what about benchmarks, i saw a video where the cpu limits at 85watt, although its rated much higher
Very good review. Its hard to find reviews on this model.... Although i find this "team up. Fight on." writing kind of cringe, i think it looks good. Unfortunate that the speakers arent great, as when im not talking to friends i am not using headphones, and prefer using internal speakers of my laptop over longer periods of time. In your experience, what laptops (edit: gaming laptops) have good speakers compared to this aorus 15? (Besides horrendously expensive ones like razer blade)
Hard to say. I seldom review a notebook and enjoy the speakers. Even the ones with so called "Bang and Olusfen" drivers are pretty meh. I remember even an Acer Predator I reviewed which had a subwoofer in it and even that was horrible haha.

@@maxsimes yes.... speakers for when youre using the computer at home and headphones for when youre not? Who on earth expects laptops to have anywhere near acceptable sound? It's just not physically possible with the size of laptops.. It's the same thing with TV's. They have speakers but you only use those when you're in a pinch for some reason
I am planning to do some 3d modeling and casual gaming, do you think this laptop will be able to do that for a long time? And are there better laptops for me?
Sorry for the delayed response. Yes, this notebook should be great for that. You can look at a "better" model maybe with a 14th-gen Core i7 or i9 but honestly, I don't think it will be a huge jump in performance.
@@GLITCHEDZA Well, I have decided on a lenovo legion laptop that has a 14th gen i7 core, an RTX 4070 and 32 GB of ram. It also has a 1TB SSD. I've heard Gigabyte Aorus laptops aren't well made and have bad thermal control. By the way, 2 days of delay isn't that much so don't be sorry for that.

Awesome to hear. Out of most of the big PC brands, Gigabyte has the worst software IMO. Quite buggy too. Hoping they completely revamp it soon.

with that different form factor, choice should be easy. 17 as desktop replacemente, 15 if you need a device easy to transport.

Your 14th Gen cpu will not be any better than the cpu in this laptop. At $1249 it's hard to beat right now.
This laptop has g-sync? the website does imply that it does and the fact that it has advanced optimus should make it happen, but I'm not so sure.
