I think this is a great watch. Don't why people would be calling it the old man watch smh. I like the sporty watch strap with the white stitching. It's amazing how the straps really changes the watch, being classy to sporty.
Initially, I had similar thoughts. I felt like it was a bit boring but the more I wore it and especially now on a strap, the more I like it. I am glad that I got this. I think it's a keeper!
Love this watch! But I feel that the thickness of it precludes putting a strap on it. It would be nice if Strapcode were to make a Jubilee or a Presidential bracelet with moulded endlinks for it.
Exactly. The watch case looks absurdly tall on anything other than the matching metal braclet. As someone else mentioned, against the leather (or nylon etc.) straps, the watch case sticks up like a chimney. The colour or material doesn't matter - they all have the same effect - the watch looks like a smoke stack. in this case, if you're not happy with the factory bracelet, don't buy the watch.

Old man's watch? That's a dress watch and that's classy! You can dress it down with a nice distressed vintage leather strap :)

Heck yes!!! I used to have an SNKM61 but I gave it to my friend. WHYYY did I do that! Now they are double, sometimes even three times the price!
I've tried all sorts of straps on my Presage and I always go back to the bracelet. The bracelet is so comfortable and looks so streamlined that anything else is a compromise. I do put it on a nato once in a while and the best strap among your choices is the nato : )
I am not going to disagree! However, I do love it on the beige Dasari.

I think that dark blue leather straps really work well with this - contrasts with the face, but still picks up that blue in the hands too.
I wouldn't call it an old guy's watch... but it does have that classic feel to it. What if you used the rubber bands as the straps? ;)

I have the non jdm version of this one. I love it and i think the white face dial is the most versatile for strap changing. it can go almost with any color

Hehe it was you! But It's not a bad thing. As soon as I got it, I had a similar thought. I have it on the beige Dasari right now. I'll probably switch to the blue in a week. As much as I like the bracelet, putting a strap on it completely changed it's "age" for me. I guess that happens with most watches, though. Alohas!

I would try to pick up the blue that is on the dial of the watch. That first sailcloth watch is available with blue stitching and that's what I would go for. Great video, thanks.

The blue shark NATO looks good only thing I don't like is that the watch case is polished and the NATO has brushed keepers and buckle.... btw what is that cricket sound in the background? At first I thought it was my AC but when I paused the video it stop so I knew it wasn't my AC 🤣
It is literally a cricket. This little bastard has been tormenting me for months. I can't find it. It seems to exist within a different dimension yet can bother me through it. I bet it has all my 10mm sockets.

I like that watch and by the way I'm an old man! Ha Ha. It's a great looking watch and it's nice that there are so many strap options with the white dial. It's still too big for my taste I think I'd go for the SARB035 because of the smaller size but you would loose that super sweet Kanji day wheel.
I'm not so young myself. Darned grey hairs! You know, it "feels" smaller with a strap. Just a little. For me, anyway. I have decided to sell a few things and get the SARB035 (as well as the SARY057) do to an epic 4-way comparison. It might take a few months lol. Thanks!

I still would prefer to splurge a little on straps. Since they will be used not just on one watch, they'll be used on every single watch in my collection of the same size 👍🏻✨

I do love Colareb and Hadley Roma, but HR does sometimes mark up some of their cheap options.
StrapsCo is a good solid brand that you can buy for less than 10 bucks for they're leather natos

Thanks, man. You've got a good point. There are a few really epic straps that I have in my wish lists however, I am not ready to spend 100+ dollars on straps just yet. I like affordable stuff. It makes me happy getting something for a low cost that is really good.
minitwatch I can respect that 👍🏻✨. I believe Dasari is made by StrapsCo, or StrapsCo is the official retailer in Canada for Dassari. 🤔I like them, they do have some pretty daring styles, specially the Cartels. Just wish BluShark would have an official Canadian Retailer ( ;-; )

I wear the SARY055 when I’m workin my bar as I don’t wear my luxury pieces cuz between the beer, booze, dishwater, etc., well, this looks nice and I won’t cry if something happens to it, lol.
I’ve basically got six straps that I rotate, with three being solid brown, black & tan crocs🐊, with the other three being shell cordovan, in brown, with the white contrasting stitch up at the lugs and then a solid burgundy and a solid lighter brown strap. I wear all on a Seiko signed deployant clasp.
As you said, this watch is a strap ho👌🏼

All straps looked good. This type is super universal. I dont like leather strap on diver watch for example SKX with leather.

Every one of those straps was better than the Seiko bracelet. The problem with Seiko is their thickness, though, and with this particular case shape it looks a bit like a chimney on a wrist. That makes it hard to consider as a dress watch. For a sports watch with a conservative twist it needs something strong but not too overwhelming. Considering all that, my favorite was the Dasari Cartel Crockodile Puke. Together it looked sporty but still classy.
Despite it's obvious dimensions, it works very well for me! I didn't really like it at first but It grew on me quickly. I feel it's proportioned well. Still, I wish it was a 40mm with a sub 11mm thickness. I am currently wearing it on the pukestrap! Thanks for your input!

Anyone get to witness the Eclipse? At least partially? We couldn't see anything here. Too many clouds and it happened before sunrise. I don't feel too bad, though. They use the old Orient movement hence the pusher but for the price they are pretty darned good!

What this watch needs is a god damn new dial!!!! Not straps. The steel band it's got is perfect!! Much better look that the fuck ass sarb033 but the 033 dial is much nicer than this shity dial
