Thankyou very much! we are planing on buy one of these for next year, we are with 3 cameras, and the Atem mini (the standard one). Definitively it will be the extreme after this video. Blessings from Jarabacoa. By the way, in UA-cam studio you can cut the darkness at the end of your video without loosing your video stats, views likes, etc.

I’m trying to find but there is no much videos about using animated plugins or video ads in your stream. I need a solution not just to stream multiple cameras but I want to have my own graphics available, I want to play video ads during live stream, and still have no idea which switcher will let me do this.
Does Blackmagic devices downstream video quality? If I want to record in each camera in 4k quality, will atem mini be able to downstream that signal to HD and stream? Thanks and regards.

Will buy that one immediately. I need two but have bigger priorities in hope of atem mini going 4k in the mean time 😁
Video over tcp/ip would be nice too. Multistream recording straight into pc.

I'm not holding my breath for a release anytime soon. Since live streaming is still almost exclusively done in 720p and 1080p, and since the ATEM Mini line is built with live streaming being priority 1, there isn't a big hurry to offer 4K. Now, if Roland comes out with a mini-level switcher that's 4K, you may see it sooner. But Roland is looking at it the same way. For the 4K hardware switcher, you're looking at the pro-level gear at about $4k and up per switcher.

@@ChurchSetup one more thing I thought about. All black magic design cameras have hdmi with 1080 max output. Maybe one or two might have 4k now. But unless the more budget cameras do there is no real benefit of upgrading the atem to 4k.

@@annebokma4637 One of the beauties of the ATEM with BMD cameras, though, is the ability to ISO record from the ATEM while auto-triggering internal recording on the camera. So you can use the 1080 recordings as proxy files in editing, then export the final edit in full 4K or 6K. So, since 4K+ is really only beneficial to post-production work, it still makes a BMD setup super-nice to have, even though the ATEM is only 1080. So you can get the best of both worlds with a 1080 stream, and 4K+ files for post-editing.
