    I just upgraded from the mini iso. Having two USB ports and a headphone jack is huge for me. Also love the supersource

    Hi, great video! Do you mean FHD when you say HD? It’s important to me to get those backup files in FHD

    Looked overwhelming at first glance, but it all seems really intuitive and straight-forward. Nice one.

    Hi, Thanks for your programs. A question: How I can connect an Android mobile to the Atem Mini Extreame ISO and then use the mobile as a wireless camera?

    Great Review… quick point: I ran into the buzz problem on the mic in, too. In the settings these are set to phantom power, just set them to line in and they work perfectly. I thought it was static noise too, luckily it’s just an unfortunate factory setting.

    Great video Jerad. I have atem mini pro for a year now. I want an upgrade. Should I buy ATEM mini PRO ISO and keep both or I should buy Extreme ISO ? what about the SDI type?

    Hi, I am new to the Atem world. I Purchased a extreme iso and I’ve been using it, but I noticed that the footage seems to be choppy at times and then smooth out and goes back to choppy when I am recording the program. I am using Sony A74 cameras. I have all the cameras set to 24 frames a second and 1080. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to change the settings?

    How do you use the pattern key, to add text & graphics to your output monitor ? Also if I wanted to add lyrics text of a song through this Atem board, how would I do this ?

    Sucks that I have to get the extreme iso for super source. I wish pro iso did super source.

    Great video, what if I didn’t want to switch between cameras but to record all cameras separately and edit them all later together in a program. Is it still better to get an atem iso?

      @jeradcamera  Рік тому +1

      It’s a good option if you edit in Resolve and are ok with 1080p resolution.

      @@jeradcamera why not just use resolve to do it all for editing?

    If I connect either the Pro or Extreme ISO versions to vmix, will I only receive a single "program" input? Or can you get the connected inputs as individual vmix inputs?

    • @RyanEllerbe
      @RyanEllerbe 2 роки тому

      From the USB port it would show up as a webcam. Whatever you switched to would show up in vMix. So no I don’t think you can see all the inputs in vMix.

    my question, I am trying to create a talk show where I interview on the spot. I set up on the spot. With backdrop and signs. I use a canon 90D and for now I am Ok while learning to use all this gear with a 1080P because its a talk show not something graphic and is more about the content. I am sure that they have heard the community and they are on the way with a unit that records in 4K. My question is if I got the mini, how could I monitor the sound? Could I use the headphone input on the camera to monitor what the sound sounds like? Does it allow me to see the gain on screen of the inputs? I will only have 3 cameras and sometimes will live stream but I am learning all this on the fly. Also, I bought the Steam Deck XL. Will the stream deck assist this in the work flow? Will it be more post that during that this benefit can happen? I have a million questions as I am just learning all this along the way.

      @jeradcamera  2 роки тому +1

      To monitor the audio on the mini you would need to monitor it at the computer the mini is connected to. The stream deck will help if you are using software like OBS. The ATEM Mini would handle camera switching and send that to your computer over USB-C, use OBS for graphics and recording/live streaming. If you have the cameras connected to the mini and the mini connected to OBS, you should be able to produce your show with minimal post production work.

      @@jeradcamera Ok thanks so much. I will be bugging you again. LOL. So should I connect a headphone to the computer so that the volume of what is going into the computer is not over dubbinig itself and will record what each mic has picked up?

    • @pydepiperproductionsllcjon7585
      @pydepiperproductionsllcjon7585 2 роки тому

      @@jeradcamera Ok thanks, I think I got it. So the recording will be done in the computer with OBS. So can I conect my external harddrive to the computer and send the recording there? What about the ISO recording? I seen another video where the software now allows you to use the eithernet to the computer so that you can connect the external harddrive to the ISO mini to record the cameras using theusbC for ISO Recording. Did I understand that correctly as well?

    You were very helpful, THANK YOU! I'm learning this from scratch... knowing almost nothing about live streaming - but I also want to simply record and do some touch up editing before uploading for play. I was trying to determine if it was worth the $$$$ since I do not have Blackmagic cameras... I use Canon. I can return the ATEM Mini Extreme ISO through March 5th without penalty if it won't be what I need. I produce a live music and talk show using 2-4 cameras and a lot of mics. So far I haven't even gotten the ATEM to show up on my computer. I built my 32 core Threadripper 256 Ram, 2070 EVGA Geforce graphics... etc. So, it isn't like I can't learn this I just feel so LOST about it right now. MAINLY, I simply want to understand what my limitations are on camera control and what features will work using my Canons... For example, is ZOOM, PANNING, FOCUS, etc. the only camera control I am losing by not having Blackmagic cameras ?? And I'm trying to understand if I will have transitions and fade effects using my Canons?? I understand my ISO will separately record each camera and that its only High Definition, no 4k or higher. I just want enough camera controls to make this ATEM Mini Extreme ISO switcher worth keeping. For audio I have a Quantum 2626 and a X32 Behringer Producer for live play and/or recording audio making the ISO for audio NOT a necessity. It would be great if someone could answer me TODAY so I'd know whether to send my ISO back or not. THANKS!!
