let me say that your video an "you will think is human hair video" inspired me to make a wig and it was a colour like this. u are the teacher and I'm the student and if u could see it, u would be proud lol. I wear it for my anniversary last week and everyone love it and can't believe it's a crochet wig. I think my crochet needle is too big I purchased the green and pink needle. I have my ventilation needle but I wanted this effect in the back of the cap. Do I need a different cap or smaller crochet needle? Ty.

yes you do need a smaller crochet hook for the same effect and mesh dome cap I find work best as well
