It was always a hope of mine that I would get to this fantastic house to film it for you all. Located a short distance from Inverness Farr House sits on it's own family run estate and welcomes large parties to enjoy its secluded and private position in the Highlands of Scotland. Inside, you will see from the video that this large self-catering holiday home has been beautifully done up to not only provide you with everything you will need, but to make sure you have a relaxing and luxurious experience. The furniture throughout mixes antique with contemporary and the textiles and bed linen are to die for. The architecture of the house lends itself well to natural daylight making a lot of the day rooms bright and breezy, and the general layout has kept the social rooms separate from the bedrooms, meaning no one will be disturbed - clever!
The fun doesn't stop inside....
The grounds are spectacular with a large loch being a short stroll away and the acres of private garden leave lots to be explored. If the weather is good then you have your own tennis court to enjoy and a private picture postcard loch complete with a boat for trout fishing or, for the brave, a chance to try some wild swimming! There may be salmon fishing available on the Findhorn or Nairn by arrangement. Inverness with all its facilities is under 1 hour away as is, the airport and the lovely beaches of Moray are an easy day trip. Head south west and you are at Loch Ness - magnificent and moody. Numerous golf courses are in the area including championship ones like Castle Stuart or Nairn. Mountain biking, paintball, bird watching and wildlife are all here. You will not be short of things to do!
