How do you get started planning out and designing a new project? To illustrate his process, Garrett shows images of some of his furniture as well as he uses two projects now in his shop. He will discuss choosing appropriate materials and how to use them optimally, planning out a logical construction strategy, deciding what techniques might efficiently and accurately get you to your goal, and which details could enhance and enliven the work.
