    1) Complaining
    2) You dread going to work everyday
    3) You are bored often
    4) You know you’re going to be fired
    5) You feel stuck and hopeless
    6) You are complacent
    7) You’re not treated like a person

      5) You feel stuck and hopeless
      I got these two, but these two sometimes that strong that literally could kill me.
      I’ve tried and tried things, no result yet.

    • @carpathianken
      @carpathianken 2 роки тому +3

      @@INvertPb4Life Financial preparation is the key.
      You only have to have another job lined up if you live from week to week & pay check to pay check.
      I learned since I started working when I was 13 years old that it's best to squirrel away some money every week to get you through the "lean" times, if you do have to make the decision to leave the workplace before having another job lined up.It's better to make that small monetary sacrifice than be forced to stay in a psychotic workplace because you literally have no option but to stay.

      I know exactly what you mean. Just hang in there until you get your bachelor’s degree, and then drop out and pursue your passion.
      You’re probably still young, and you can piggyback on your parents’ insurance until age 26. If you want to start your own business, now is the perfect time to do it.
      All grad school does is drive you further into debt, and stunt your work experience by 1 year.
      Lastly, learn how to invest. Cost of living is high, and companies try to pay you less and less for more and more work.

  • @BigD-jc6rj
    @BigD-jc6rj 4 роки тому +75

    I worked for over a year at a job I absolutely HATED. I felt drained every evening, and I started anxiety meds and antidepressants for the first time in my entire life.
    Every morning I was taking antacids because my stomach was so upset, and every evening it was so hard to be positive and strong for my wife and daughter, to the point that my wife wanted to pack up and leave.
    I was so glad to land a new job, in the field that I enjoyed, even with a longer commute. I put in my two weeks notice, but then I quit early when upper management stepped on my toes one two many times. I didn’t care. I was starting the new job the following week anyway.
    Don’t quit your hated job until you line something up on the outside, but man, it feels so good when you finally can!

We should always put hard work and gratitude in everything we do because this habit will follow us where ever we go and pursue. Now if you feel you would like to leave your job ask yourself if it’s something internal you can change to enjoy your job better or if it may be time for change because you have out grown this chapter in life.

      jWohlfahrt you just did it. Ask better questions. Better questions give better answers. Ask how can you make more money? Ask how can you live your life on your own terms, what must happen? When you begin to focus on what you want and ask for it you will find opportunities will present themselves. Now if you don’t believe this don’t forget we do live in the Information Age the greatest age of all time to create life on your own terms. Just dig deeper with a hunger to learn. I wish you the best.

    I used to have signs 1 - 6 when I was a teacher, became one because my parents chose my path for me, believing it's easier and more comfortable. Currently, I am investing in myself for culinary training since I realized that becoming a chef is what I really want. But I'm not going to limit myself working in the kitchen. I also want to add Restaurant Consultant in my resumè, since I like the idea of high income skill.

    Honestly speaking, I tend to experience those 7 points at all the jobs I did. I've job hopped a lot and why I quit those places are exactly because of those warning signs mentioned. And then I got to my current job and thought that, I am not getting any younger and I couldn't be changing job way too often and started thinking things like 'maybe it's me' kind of thing. Like maybe there are things that I have to further improve and I thought it's normal to face such setbacks as human beings do need challenges to grow after all. But then again, it's like I'm sabotaging myself. Being in a workplace where people tend to take me lightly, taken for granted, and not wanting to cooperate just to feed their own ego. Bosses not wanting to do anything about it and say things like 'their characters are like that' and yet when the usually good and kind ones accidentally commits mistake like once in a while, they're being 'target' by them. So I thought enough is enough and coincidentally, I did went to try applying for job somewhere else earlier today. Hope this will be a good beginning to start afresh and advance forward.

    I never understood those ''Why don't you just quit your job?'' people! How exactly do you imagine the world works? Do you just assume that everyone has a million saved up in their bank account and can just live comfortably for years while studying for a new career or looking for a better job? People need to survive and most have families to feed as well; they can't just quit their job like it's some fucking optional Spanish 1A course in college!
