Same here. I run a small landscaping business here in Croatia and everybody told me "Don't buy the HS45, it's not a commercial model".. Yeah right. Like I'm gonna spend 700-800$ for their Pro models.. All I can say is - this thing rocks. But I got myself a 24" model. That bar is never too long as far as I'm concerned. Some of my clients have such wide hedges that I barely make it with a 24" from both sides. I know, there's a pole hedge trimmer but I got some tools and equipment to buy before the pole trimmer.
Had a set for about three years, great little hedgecutters, & reliable, cheap too. Only down side is vibration & loud! Just bought Husqvarna 122HD60, better on both levels so far but time will tell. Keeping the 45's though as they'll probably last longer than me!
Compared to the old craftsman it replaced is so much superior on all levels. That craftsman was so underpowered it was pathetic. To me this Stihl doesn’t seem to vibrate like some I’ve tried. I’m a die hard Stihl guy all the way.
Just brought a pair for $45 used but still in great shape the price is what was the stihl. I just had to buy. Had to do a little cleaning but they work great. Got a real stihl deal
