I started running that team while I was watching the video. I have to admit that I was completely skeptic when it came to my rune quality AND I DID IT! I MANAGED TO AUTO GB12 WITH MY SHITTY RUNES!!!! Thanks a lot man!
btw: when I men "shitty runes" it means that NONE of my units has more than 90+ speed. In fact, my Sigmarus is +0 speed (but hits like a drunk step-parent)

this team worked for me without needing to change any runes, they are much worse than his and totally obtainable for anyone. thanks for the team comp
nice vid! just one thing to add on the runes from sig, i think it is better to use a rage set on sigmarous. this is becouse the skill 2 and 3 do dmg based on the amount of hp the enemy has, this means that if he's on rage set(so with more cr dmg) he will do more dmg than if he's on a fatal set. but fatal works fine to, its just if you wanna get that little extra dmg. bdw i was using the same team :)
Think he knows, but he wants the runes to be more accessible to beginners. Beginners typically can't farm nb10 as consistently as gb10. You do bring up a good point, so I would even go as far to say to go 6 blade so that beginners don't have to worry about cr substats as much.

@@superfly231000 no i don't honk he knows, cause if it was he wouldn't have said to use vio runes on Fran Loren Vero, and to counter Loren Fran, for PvP reason, Vero was built for gb12 and said to use vio, which beginners don't have alot of, so I don't think he purposely used fatal instead of rage...
@@superfly231000 Tbh this video isnt really for beginners cause he just talks about the giant boss, but most beginners will die to the crystals before it cause shit ai, no op runes and no max towers.

Atk over spd is a good thing early game, however Im in the same situation as you I have to rerune more for spd and hp, waiting for frr of course

also ive been using wind dryad at 5* over vero and its been working really well since the boss only counter attacks anyways
U dont need spd on atkers in giants u just need loren and fran faster than the boss
@@noctiscaelum9845 atk is never over spd even early game even in gb10 you need speed over attack it doesn't matter how much your attack is if you don't move
Charlotte (wind occult, yes nat5) if you happen to have her, skill 3 got a small atb increase added to it, really handy as a damage dealer in gb12

I cant believe i actually made it with this team, i change my runes a bit and voila. Amazing. Thank you! I used lushen instead of kro tho, still building him.
Veromos is the 4th addition to this core team I've tried after following 2 other videos and a Reddit guide that didn't work as a new player with my rune quality. I'm finally able to run GB12 by subbing Shannon for Kro, even with 5 star tanky Veromos. Thanks for the video. Edit: Still 100% after about 80 runs.
Hello! I use my Ellunia team + Lushen: 2A (Bernard, Shannon, Ramahan, Naomi). Lushen often dies but is there to speed up the runs, the rest of the team doesn't practically take damage from the boss thanks to all the buffs and debuffs and atb reduction. The runs are very consistent and it takes 1-1:30 per run :)

I finally built a fire lizardman for Steel Fortress 10, got him to max level 5* and am currently testing him to see how effective he is in there. 1 run so far success.
if ur a free to play player with no awesome runes. a 2 min to 3 min team safe and based on dots/damage team, vero, shannon(2a) bernard(2a), Bella, the last unit can be sig or orochi or kro take ur pick :)
I have a 79% acc Loren wich keeps missing strips in Gb12 and Db12, in Db12 she even missed it 4 times in a row... i benched her and used other team.
Also, i will add an option: did you build a Zinc for the Fortress? C.Dmg Zinc does some damage and the buff block and avoiding a buffed hit from the boss is a safe boss. Even d.broken units wont be killed by a revenge if the boss is atk.broken and not have the atk buff.
Also, Zinc is a def unit, can tank almost everything in the dungeon.
Also, if the boss gets the buff, the tower def. breaks and Loren attacks, the boss will do like 40k damage to her, and also, the boss can crit, if Loren gets killed on first rota, your debuffs doesnt stick (shit happens) you CAN fail, but is very unlikely (and probably with his lvl of runes, 100% safe)
i have 93 acc on loren , i got same problems in mid boss, not the last one tho
I have 90 acc and can't even strip gb10 my Loren broken
At max skills Loren only has a 75% chance to strip with each of her 2 bullets, also all units have a minimum resistance of 15% even if your accuracy is overkill. Try using light homie if you're more mid game her first skill is a guaranteed strip, she's helped me in DB12 and GB12
your dmg dealer can survive a hit from the giant, mine dont and theyre actually pretty good runed, but my pvp turrets arent maxed yikes
It depends, if your damage dealers die from non defense break or atk buff on the boss then you should try to make it a bit tankier or can even put a slot 6 Hp%

His Loren survived a hit with Bdef on at 2:27 thats bullshit xd i have never ever survived an hit with Bdef on with any monster except glancing on my Naomi
I know this is an older video, but hopefully you see this @islandgrown. It would be nice if you talked about how towers and skill ups play a role in being able to beat dungeons consistently. Whether they play a huge role or not it would be nice if someone of your experience would put out something regarding this. Love the videos keep up the great work.
if u guys are struggling i think you should try shannon instead of vero. I've been having a bit more success because of the glancing saving units A LOT. If you have fran she has a chance of putting up immunity for the defense break but if not shannon also has defense buff to counteract that defense break a bit.

Wow.. as soon as I watched this I tried the exact same team and apparently my runes are complete crap still because I didn't even make it past the 3rd wave of enemies before losing 2 units 😑 and I've been farming gb11, db11, and nb10 for months now
Then I did swap out kro for my 2a Shannon and even though she is only 5 star they are handling it. Very roughly but it's my first time being able to do gb12 with no help. Thanks man. 👍
I've noticed that if u have low rune quality u don't want to have Loren on vio, she kills herself on the boss and the boss will wipe ur team.
Thing is if anyone dies on the boss you want it to be loren or fran and you're p much set for the boss fight

I'm really surprised no content creator has been pushing Mellia (Wind Dryad) at all? She works extremely well with Naomi. She was also an HoH. Pairing her with a tanky Bernard and Chasun makes this team extremely safe if Naomi/Kro die because Mellia stacks SO many dots in a short time. Having type advantage also lowers rune quality. Try Bernard (L), Naomi, Bernard, Chasun as a core with the last spot dependant on rune quality requirements (damage dealer for faster run or Fran for a second heal or immunity).

when you have 90% acc on loren and she still is never able to push the mid boss atk bar down

My GB12 team is: Lushen (lead), Laika, Fran, Loren, Kro. Works with a 90% sucess rate and average time is 1:50, high score 1:20. Rune quality is about F3. Unfortunately Laika is crucial, he tanks the middle boss with his passive and he solos the boss in worst case scenario with his dots. But if you have him, he is a very good unit for GB12.
I want Laika for that reason, i can go 3 damage +laika+setup and it'll never lose even if all the damage dealers die, the gaint would be low enough for laika to finish and still have a decently fast run

Naomi is the boss slayer
Fran and Loren are your bread-and-butter supports
Mav does three things: a) cleanse defbreak/freeze b) add a speed steroid to everybody on your team, and c) accelerate your skill 2s and skill 3s except his own. Oh, and his 2nd skill can provoke trash wave units to heal up and soak a potential freeze on your supports, for a glanced attack that does nothing.
Mav is so underused in gb12 but he's practically budget Jamire without the AoE HP scaling atkbreak skill 2 from the Wind Dragon...
Due to the various "pick your 4*" events, Lushen has to be at least in your box at least once.
If you're starting fresh, take the video's team up for a go, but if you wanna see some funny shenanigans, try the team in this comment.

What's name of the song?
A smart buff blocker like Megan or whatever you are using in SF is better than Vero. The boss has a lot more stats than you, so stripping and preventing the attack buff from him is more important than preventing def. break on your team. Megan also offsets the def. break with a def. buff.

This is not beginner or early game freindly. But overall great team. The team is begginner freindly but not the runes
I used the same team and subbed out Vero for Shannon. Vero cleasning defense break is great but running despair shannon lets you add glancing on boss and defense buff for the team, but I think something that something gets overlooked is with 2 attack buffers its almost always up
Also works with non maxed towers im 75 day account with consistent id say 95% success

I use vero, 2a shannon, 2a bella, decamarron, lulu i rarely if ever lose. Not fast but it almost never fails so its good while im at work. Deca(dark sal) is on guard/rage for damage
My loren really seems to be the problem. She has Pretty decent runes and similair to Islands. with 81% accuracy. Yet she always ends up dying because the boss hits her. What to do?
Take violent off of her because when she procs she sets off his revenge.
Bernard, Bella, A2 shannon, Naomi, Mellia and its 100% success for me.

How to deal with the double crystal hits from the 3rd stage? all of the monsters keep hitting on the golems and not ccing the crystals
Id say use shannon instead of veromos so u can take dmg from them.
you didnt point how important the attack debuff from fran is, on this video you land it every single time even with 19% acc, on my case everytime its not landed my mons die from revenge'

Since loren stops the boss to get a turn, you just need to land the debuff only once. With 60% on 3 attacks its standard she will get it in 1-2 turns

If you dont have high quality runes on loren, dont use her cause she is gonna die cause of boss counter everytime, use belladeon instead its safer because he does nearly the same but also heals and strips using the skill with better AI. If the boss has attack break and you have vero and sigmarus lead, it does not really matter if the boss gets a turn

This team isn't %100 safe for me, but if I survive the 3rd wave and land most of my debuffs on the boss, then it'll work. Also, I realized I don't have any of my towers yet, so once I get them that might make it more consistent.

I don't understand it. my Kro has more HP and defense than his, yet it gets one-shot by the counterattack with no attack buff or defense break. I'm just a very confused guy here

you forgot to mention defense buff cancels out defense break for the newer players who just past gb10

i have the same team but with all mobs in swift and my loren never use her skill 2 when the boss has atk buff so i have a lot of fail of "miss timing"

But hey! Island is right: I use Yen in GB12 to allow my Laika to solo the Giant once it wipes out my entire team, lol.

not necessarily, if ur team is build well even if she get counter atacked ur team will have time to kill the boss before he moves

why is my vero on 200spd, still cannot cycle for the 2nd def break, if i make him 180 then its too slow and the boss wipes, i dont get it.

For a beginner team aren’t Bella Shannon better? They won’t prok revenge as much Bella’s heal is better and u apply slow and glance. Also having multi hitters on violent mean u get revenged even more.
Drew Tombleson it’s safer for a beginner* definitely not better, it’s much slower, with good enough runes on this team it’s consistent. I don’t think he was making this video for beginners this is more of a mid/late game team

Loren has 81 acc and still never lands debuffs but bella with 10 lands every single time
