Also, of course the home is beautiful and so are Dan's words and descriptions, but the team who shot and produced this video with all the beautiful b-roll and shots of the house are incredible as well.
This guy would make a killing coaching people for job interviews and updating their resumes. I've never heard someone describe in so much detail so many mundane everyday experiences. Mans paved the front lawn and became a self proclaimed revolutionary.
I've rarely listened to someone describe a process so concisely, without wasting any words or going off on a bunch of tangents. If this guy ever had to explain something to you twice, you'd definitely be slow.
"The architecture is a vessel of light." Man, that statement is magnificent. Such a wellspoken and thoughtful person. Really enjoyed the video and the house.
I love that you describe the process as a sensorial experience especially sound! Congratulations to the idea of no waste, no cuts, recycling materials. Beautiful house! 💖👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
i was captivated while listening to his storytelling and the history he shared about how this house came into existence. i was truly drawn in by the beautiful collaboration and thoughtfulness that went into creating a unique house, one that embodies sensory experiences, reusability, and sustainability. overall, hearing his perspective speak of this house as a shared experience was truly inspiring. beautifully done!
All of humanity should thank this man for being a steward and preserving this historic multimillion dollar mansion that he built for himself three years ago! He's such a selfless benefactor!
appreciate this... enough to leave a comment (something I don't think I've done before). this is one of the best reasoned explanations of architecture that I have ever heard. not to mention a great project as well...
The music sounds like just the one chord I am waiting for something to change but it just goes on like something fell on the keyboard. Nice job on photography.
This reminds me of another house I saw in a magazine ages ago, a bridge house over Arroyo Seco (I think - maybe it was a gulch or something near Arroyo Seco, I just remember the word arroyo was used in the article). I don't think the house's style was as modern, but it was interesting because the house had some weird angles to it in order to fit in the terrain. I wish I could find that magazine/article again.
This project was subtle yet mindblowing! That company who designed the bones are geniu$ - wonder if there was any savings using the upcycled materiale?
Clearly a man who have never fallen down a set of stairs/steps. At his age, I had the same devil-may-care approach to such things - that all changed in three seconds of violence and pain. Thanks for the vid.
I love the combined art of the footage, editing, speech and music. Perfect blend, always peaceful and inspiring. You should try to get in more John Lautner houses! My absolute favorites.
Love it so much! However, it's worth noting that steel, recycled or not, has such high embodied carbon. This would have been quite a bit more impressive if they managed this with prefab engineered lumber. But seriously love the no front no back yard... just yard. And Absolutely LOOOVE the consideration of sound. This is hardly ever mentioned in the design videos yet it adds so much value! I love the crunch of gravel on a hike

Well done. Beautiful home.
your home is next to heaven
Mate, this is just beautiful. So thoughtful. You’re a great storyteller too!
Lovely house! Your dog rocks!
"Architecture is a vessel of light". Fantastic Build.
Cringeworthy comment
The sweet puppy is actually my favorite part of this video.
Also, of course the home is beautiful and so are Dan's words and descriptions, but the team who shot and produced this video with all the beautiful b-roll and shots of the house are incredible as well.
This audio with the water and soft sounds of nature is very relaxing.
It really is!

Stunning Design In/Out.

This is a different level of vision and revelation. God bless Dan. The home over the brook.
Such a lovely house, and the owner also drives a sick 993 C4S, this guy has style

What a beautiful home. He wonderfully designed this home to be embraced by the surroundings.
Watching this made me quite emotional. It's such a beautifully considered home. Incredible.
This house (exterior & interior), this guy and his story about the house and even his dog are amazing.
"The architecture is a vessel of light." Man, that statement is magnificent. Such a wellspoken and thoughtful person. Really enjoyed the video and the house.
As a designer, I must say fantastic design and build. Love the framework and how the home and garden coexist so beautifully. Congrats…
Wow. Gorgeous. Guy has really good personal taste, creativity, and money.
This is a perfect home because of design, nature, art, light, expression, and EXPERIENCE!
Great production and narrative. ✌️
Good to see that recently built modern architecture can be beautiful!
I clicked because of the G-Class and stayed for the nice history of the house 😊
but why has it a german number plate?
G-Wagen = almost a guarantee of douchebaggery.

What's behing the g class ? Looks like a 993 and a 911 G but not sure. Dude seems to own a cool M3 E30 too. Nice
Well done...the fact that the community bent on preservation & history and sustainability accepted it speaks volumes...love that dog too!
Beautiful place! and the sound effect this dude makes while explaining is 🤌
I love that you describe the process as a sensorial experience especially sound! Congratulations to the idea of no waste, no cuts, recycling materials. Beautiful house! 💖👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Beautiful house, great story and that 2 door G-Wagen fits the house aesthetic
It looks like the whole house is viewed through Kodak Gold. Breathtakingly serene

this is a wonderful space. kudos to the company from Quebec who planted the seed for this project!
What a great feature. Love how you bring the built environment to life.

it’s therapeutic to listen to his narrate the beauty that is this home
Thank you for letting us in to your home to experience this feeling of warmth.
This house is incredible! Amazed that these types of homes exist. The human mind really is amazing.
I love how they have incorporated a textile with the tiles in the hallway ❤
What a great joy it must be to use your craft to create a home for yourself exactly how you want it
Simply beautiful. Well put together. Great example of modern architecture.
really love how nature is brought inside the house through the glass wall and openings :)

Thank you so much
Came for the house, stayed for all the James Jean work. Such a rad space.
What an absolute treat to watch - thank you so much!
The video has a really warm feel to it , It makes me want to visit the home and see it for myself.
The music sounds like just the one chord I am waiting for something to change but it just goes on like something fell on the keyboard. Nice job on photography.
Love the James Jean sculpture out front

Beautifully executed architectural design.
Just amazing! Truly a beautiful design

What an amazing home. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Superb home - I usually prefer old property. The design of this could flip me to a modern one. Love the G-wagon on the driveway too
Even to the sounds of the ground.... this is more then perfect!
I love how his dog stays with him throughout the interview

I had the same thought seeing the stairs, even though I'm 39.
Its got a nice layout, love that hallway
Absolutely Gorgeous and the Cute fur baby ❤
Beautiful.. I actually found this home following the stream on the map. Amazing design. Wonderful.
Beatles paraphernalia? Rickenbacker's on the wall? A Mac SE/30 on the shelf? Man, I want to be friends with this guy.
Me too 😅
Lmao I thought the same. Id rent out a room if I had to
Rich hipsters are cringe

Renaissance man for sure.
incredible. especially the story behind the design.
This is what I call true luxury. Gorgeous.
Beautiful! Elegant and quite spaces. My favorite: James Jean's sculptures
and artworks from James Jean!
Jaw dropping amazing house❤

The Bridge House is an absolutely incredible space. I can't wait to visit again!
I'm not sure if I'd personally live in this home, but it sure looks damn cool
So much thought and insight.
Excellent architecture and design on every level.
My gooooooooodness!!!!!!!!!!!! Love the house. As always, well done my bros!!!
Just wow! ❤
Perfection in every sense of the word.
Very beautiful home.
I do not know how to live in such a stunning house.
Nice beautiful home…. But that Gibson 335 on the wall. *Chef’s Kiss*
Stunning place, id trim the landscaping back at the entry. It's a bit overwhelming and takes away from the place. Makes it look overgrown
Lovely
Absolutely fabulous!
Incredible space, light and design! I need to know the counter stool maker 👀 !!!
Love it! Such a beautiful space. Well done guys! 👏👏👏💪💪💪

I love the way the guy just uses his mouth to demonstrate the sounds of gravel and machine, such a passionate man haha.
this ones a favorite. Dan and the entire team crushed it!
Great house Thomas Green!
This house gives so much nostalgia and deja vu to me. And I'm not even from US.
This house is like an uber modern version of Falling Water ❤
Dream house🥰
Sweet Crib. Love the art in the house as well.
I see the home as heaven on earth and it's in Los Angeles
❤️❤️
Stunning home. Thank you for sharing.
This home certainly isn't like the luxurious mansions or top floor penthouses seen in other videos, but it sure is unique and beautiful on its own
Such an Architectural Gem, thank you for sharing this with us.
Love it!
what a beautiful house
Exquisite. But also, how many puppies are there, total? 😊
Everything about this house is just amazing. My favourite house ever!
Wonder how much it would sell for?
