It was so sick, I did VIP for this show and I heard harmonized Jambi during the sound check before we went into the arena for the face to face and thought I was hearing things, then of course they played it with Richie 🤯
Judas Priest are one of my favourite bands, and to hear something like this PERFECTLY accompany another all time favourite, Tool, is incredible. I absolutly love this- unbelievable. Hearing a "metal" style solo being ripped up and out by Richie alongside Tool's barrage of riffs- and then like Priest themselves to hear Adam and Richie harmonise things. It is wonderful. As much as I love Adam's style and unique approach to guitar, being a massive fan of solos,Ive always wondered how traditional rock solos would fit with Tool. The answer is here. I want solos like this in more Tool songs! Ive been excited to hear this since I heard about it last week. Incredible.
I was fucking there man, I took my roommate to his first tool show, THIS TOOL SHOW, and needles to say that both of our minds were blown, I'm pretty sure we both were tear struck by this absolutely fuck mothering god like of a performance from our favourite band and one of our top tier guitarist, will never forget this night and I'm glad one of you brave souls recorded it, rock on tooligans 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Great additions made this new sound for tool go down well, new/old that is... it being a classic metal style riffing with Adam in different key. Love it.
@@veenanitai I tell you what else kind of irked me. I've been a Tool fan since '93, but had never seen them in Concert before. I had NO IDEA that they don't play really play any of the music from Undertow anymore! That's my FAVORITE TOOL ALBUM BY FAR!!! They did play "Swamp Song", but that's it... 🙄 #TotallyPissed Oh well... Show was STILL AMAZE-BALLS ✊🤘✊🤘
@@pastorofmuppets325 that's great you really enjoyed the show despite tool not playing more songs from your favourite album and missing Richie's performance, after all that's what counts the most 😀🤘♥️
Pastor of Muppets been there dude, its come to the point where i purposely dont get drunk at tool shows just so i wont have to piss, missed the first half of descending the first time, but luckily i got to hear it twice more
Hearing a more conventional guitar solo in a Tool song was both kind of weird and cool at the same time lol harmonized part was a real nice addition…good all around👍
Nice! That sounded like Richie added his thing the the song and instead of trying to sound like Tool. In contrast to for example Kirk H when he played a solo with Meshuggah. He tried to be Fredrik instead of putting his standard wah solo over the song. A wah infused shred solo in Bleed could have been so cool!
I didn’t know I needed to hear a harmonized solo in Jambi until now.

Saw this live and it was absolutely spectacular! Thank you so much for uploading so that we can relive this epic moment
I was there too. It was sublime. Richey from Judas Priest. Rock it
I was there too and my mind was blown... nobody around me knew who the fuck he was but they were all amazed after he played.
This show was my 6th time to see Tool live. Nothing compares to the atmosphere they create and having Richie as a guest was an awesome bonus!
God those are the meanest harmonies I’ve ever heard. What a great show
I was there. It was amazing.

When they started harmonizing I bout shit my pants. Stellar performance

I was there that night, god damn it was spectacular.
Richie is a fucking beast. He's not just some rando fill-in for Priest.
The harmonized part was so epic sounding
I hope they release this as an official track.
I never paid this song much attention until hearing it live and now I can’t get enough of it
I flew in from Philly to see this show. When Maynard introduced him the place went fucking nuts!!
No the fuck they didn't. You can even hear it when he's introduced. 😂😂😂😂
As a BIG JP and tool fan this is incredible.
My peace of mind! My home! My center!
I love 2 things, you only have two videos on your channel and one of them is one of the greatest performances ever...

Richie at 4:10
I was at this show, & I TOTALLY MISSED Richie's performance due to an INCREDIBLY ILL-TIMED BATHROOM BREAK! 😡
@@pastorofmuppets325 I can feel your frustration , so sorry for you that you missed it.

This is the absolute coolest thing I've ever gotten to witness live. Much kudos to the uploader for letting me relieve this

Don’t know him personally but everything I’ve read says Ritchie is as cool as a dude can be
Rey refucctoer best rocker
Danny fucked up!
THIS IS WHAT TOOL COULD SOUND LIKE IF THEY HAD A LEAD GUITARIST THAT GAVE A FUCK ABOUT LEAD GUITAR - GOD DAMMIT AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
They are perfect just the way they are.
They don’t need a lead guitarist asshole. Adam serves tool perfectly
Sean I know you like Pink Floyd but lay off the ketamine man
