I don't get why not being able to pack the pot stabilzer and gas is a problem personally. It would have been nice if they made the minimo pot ½" taller so it all fit in but if you are bringing another pot just put the stabilizer in that with a pot cloth for cleaning. If your not bringing another pot you don't need it anyway.
@@Chris66ableI don’t think you get it the pot stabiliser is for a separate pot rendering no longer a one pot system! so if taking the pot stabiliser it can just go in the other pot! I think the stupid thing is putting the tripod inside the lid like I would want to put a muddy piece of plastic in a pot I’ve just cleaned 😂
These are so good for freeze dried meals. Pour a serving into boiling water and let it simmer til it the right consistency. Makes moutainhouse style meals 4 times better.
I got the Minimo and consider it to be the biggest mistake ever. The lid strainer is useless, the drinking hole in the lid spills everywhere, after a while the lid will just fall off, the pot will not hold the whole kit in , including the gas as other brands of stove do which are half the price, and if you have just cooked a meal in it , you have to wait until you've ate the meal & washed your pot, to make a drink...
Does this one looks better than the black one in real life

You don't get it, so you don't understand what an All - in- one system is then, which this stove is marketed as !

Just FYI, the boiling point of water is lower the higher elevation you are at. So at 8k feet, the boiling point is 198 degrees, vs 212 at sea level.
