Love the idea of powered side steps but I’ve heard lots of people have issues with them especially living in the north during winter. Truck looks great Matty. Nice to see a quick glimpse of the 🐕 too 😀

The truck is shot not just the motor. Was trash from the assembly line. Should’ve got a Yota. 😂

Get the Amp Research Power Steps Xtreme. Has 2 motors on each side. I have them and just helped a friend install them on his 2020 Silverado 2500 HD.

I never like power steps I like the fix steps don't have to worry about the motor going out

Sometimes you just have know when you're wasting time. Keep them fixed in place or go with aftermarket power step setup, or just remove them.

Trying everything before spending the money.

As do most of us do also. Especially when it's with an item that came with the truck when it was new and want everything to work. But your time and frustration has a value and you have to know that your just wasting time and move on to other things you want to do with the truck. Plus, you could have condensed all your videos on this subject into just one.

Id just leave them cause i feel it needs power steps or no steps😂
Came with them stock so getting fixed steps feels like a downgrade

Maybe they need some oiling? They were covered in dirt maybe they’re just drying up?
