Excellent installation video, Jonathan. In case you are unaware, Ericsson is the Euro tuning division of the legendary JDM tuning company Powerhouse Amuse now known as Amuse. There is a full body kit for the E92 M3 called the Ericsson M480 Concept, the kit comprises the front facia, carbon fibre lip, carbon fibre hood,rear bumper facia and diffuser, carbon fibre trunk and side skirts. The Ericsson M480 kit has always been my favourite body kit for the E92 M3.
Look great. Excited to see how this all turns out. Definitely agree with you on paint matching the trunk. Of course all of this is subjective, but I just feel carbon works better as accents, like lips/spoilers/skirts etc. Of course having the benefit of lighter pieces like hoods and trunks are great, but leaving it fully exposed, especially on certain models just feels tacky to me. Leaving that edge along the trunk lip exposed is a great a subtle touch. Continued success, dude.

I don’t know if you’ve seen @seanasaurus 340i’s carbon painted trunk, but you should do an idea similar to that. Where the paint fades into the carbon, looks sick!
Very nice. Have you thought about wrapping the trunk instead of paint matching as to not permanently cover the CF? I’ve been think about getting a CF trunk for my M2cs and wrapping it instead of painting as to not permanently alter the trunk.
Did you struggle with fitment when trying to transfer upper taillight to carbon trunk because I can’t seem to get the clips adjusted correctly to snap on
Bro, looks good 👍. A quick visual fix for the missing pain section. Get a piece of high gloss black vinyl wrap. It will take 15-20 minutes to prep, cut and apply. Amazon has a nice vinyl (Vivid Ultra Gloss Premium vinyl car wrap). It is actually, really, really nice stuff. It has 3 layers, the vinyl, the peel off side for application as well as a top peel off side to be removed after application. This allows you to squeegee, heat ect without damaging, scratching the actual vinyl. After completing application you peal off the top protective layer to reveal a perfect vinyl.
Hello. I love your videos!! You may be the only person that can answer this question since you are so detail oriented. What type/size of license plate screws do you use with your license plate holder with the BMW rear license base mount bracket? “M5x0.8 x 12mm?” I bought an used 2018 Metallic Sunset Orange 340 and it doesn’t have the original screws. I want to put a BMW slimline plate holder but i want the correct screws that won’t go too deep and into the paint. Thank you.
Really good video! My personal opinion, you said about the more aggressive look. I feel the E series was designed with more bulky curves rather than harsh angles (the last of the real aggressive look). Think this is really important also with the wheels, I have OEM 313s. I don’t like when people have 763m on the E series because there are designed to complement the F series harsh lines! My opinion is always keep the car similar to how it was designed, aka E series stays with bulky curves not harsh sharp corners etc!
@@ThicWhips ok, style of trunk is fair enough. Weight savings on the other hand break the perfect weight distribution of this car, so maybe you should think of a front bonnet too. Just my humble opinion :)
I’m pretty sure it’s the correct way by using sticky pads as well as using screws.Just don’t see any advantage in drilling unnecessary holes in your whip.Just an opinion & you know opinions r like ***holes, in that everyone’s got one 😂😂

Prices are down by like 20%. Best time to do it. Picked my 105k mile for 17k. Did rod bearings myself.
