An interesting layout for a house not subject to snow loads. The huge entry hall could include a powder room while retaining its coat closet and bench. I'm surprised at the traditional style of the fireplace, and I'd find a more practical location for the TV. The kitchen needs more counter and cabinet space rather than a second fireplace. With just a few adjustments this could work for someone like me!

A lovely home that works. The only two significant changes i would make are to add an interior door to the front door and to remove the kitchen fireplace and move the cooker into that space with work surface on either side. The kitchen would work better and would cost less to build. The other items are strictly up to the buyer and builder to detetmine what works for client

I would make an island instead of the fireplace and relocate the entry door to where the Christmas tree is. Also, smaller front porch. Forth bedroom is possible.

    1. I'd have substituted a french door for one of those arched windows to the living area - during balmy days it would be good to let fresh air in. LOVE the design of those windows and the airy feel they give.
    2. I'd prefer a standing valet to the cabinet and console in the entryway, maybe a coat closet. Also more coat hooks. Love the cubbies for the shoes, though.
    3. Replace those consoles flanking the hearth with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, and that console/storage on the wall as you enter the living area? Maybe a shelved storage closet with two folding doors, or a proper pantry - honestly, why do people design houses with no pantry for bulk food storage? Many foods should not be stored on open shelves like the ones in the kitchen (exposure to light causes them to deteriorate) or near heat sources, such as the kitchen fireplace or above the stove.
    4. I DO like the double hearth so that there is a cozy fire in both the living rooms and kitchen.
    5. Lots of good counter space in the kitchen and the cabinetry is beautiful.
    6. 3 ovens? Oh that is just a bonus! As much as I cook and bake, such a set-up is a dream. However, if one had to go, it could be the one under the stovetop and that space could house cookware.
    7. Nice laundry room, but I'd have a utility sink rather than a hand sink. Sometimes things have to be scrubbed by hand or soaked before washing.
    8. 1st bedroom - since this home is designed for a small family or 2 people with a guest room, the space used by that ensuite bathroom could be used for an office or nook. The bedroom is a small one and would benefit from having a bit more space. Personally, I'd use the whole space for a library/office or an art/crafting studio.
    9. Great layout for the other two bedrooms and main bathroom.
    10. I'd put in a patio off the kitchen door, and probably have a Mediterranean-style awning which is slatted and allows partial shade.
Overall, this design is light, airy, classically timeless, and comfortable. The numerous windows let in plenty of light and give the feel of being part of the outdoors. I'd strongly consider it for a future home to build.

Why is the foyer entrance (for guests and wet/dirty dwellers of this accommodation ) located at the sensitive backyard/veranda of the house and not at the main entrance at the front, where also the cars are parking?

    Nice home! Love the double
Sided fireplace. Would change up the kitchen design some. These wardrobes you are putting in your designs do not hold the volume of clothes people have. A combo washer/dryer would never work for a family with 4 or more kids, so the laundry room would be small which normally (for us) serves as a storage area too! So, not likely the home for us but I still want 2 sided fireplace!

Bathrooms are too tight for a lot of people. Not a big fan of the entry layout. If the porch was covered, it would be more functional. Also if you can sleep 6, you should plan to dine 6.
My impulse is to cover the porch and center the entry on the living space. The front door is great and the windows grand, but unless you're aimed to face a spectacular view, feels a bit fish bowl.
If you're not in an urban area, you should probably consider parking as well.
