Loved the video. Thank you. Just arrived home after four days there. I would really recommend the Sykes farm campsite. Lovely people. As I am a clockwise kind of guy (irrational human being :) ) I like to follow the lake path from the Sykes farm café clockwise, but either way offers excellent views. and many happy memories of childhood experienced here. Well worth the drive through the passes. But I wouldn't recommend trying it in very large RVS :).
Enjoying Your videos Paul after a tip from Campervan Tales. We have just got back from the west lakes, really enjoyed the quieter areas. We drove down to Buttermere, the same way you drove there after trying from the other direction but were put off by a 6’ 6” width restriction sign (our van is 6’9” without mirrors a Citroen van conversion).
Which entrance to the lake would you recommend is the quickest, please? The buttermere village access or from the farm at the end of honister pass? Hope that makes sense!
If you mean quickest route to get you lakeside I would say following the road from Gatesgarth (the farm) would be slightly quicker, but the parking is better in the village. Personally I would use the village. 👍🏻

Went to the Lake District a couple of weeks ago and used your videos to plan some of the places we visited. It is stunning and will be back again. One of our favourite places was wastwater, would love to see you do a video of that area.
Walked round the whole Lake today and Buttermere has the views 👌 that are excellent, and Thanks to your Vlog I love Buttermere ❤
Hopefully doing Buttermere tomorrow 6/05/2023 as I have always loved the views 👍
