    Oh no, that hummus is so sad. :( Hummus should not crumble in my opinion. :)

      Agreeeeed. It should be so smooth and creamy. It’s probably fat free hummus which is just inherently sad haha.

    I don't get why you won't eat a handful of nuts but you will eat a spoonful of nut butter? I think it would be the same amount of calories in the end.

      It doesn’t make sense because science already proves to us that eating nuts and the calories from them are good for you. Hannah is definitely a part of the fear of fats group. Our brains are literally made of fat. Eat nuts, just eat them. They are great for you. Fruit is great but it’s not filling and it’s not actually that high in nutrients. Fat and protein are where we fill satisfied and how we stay strong in our bodies and brains. Carbs help us short term. Protein and fats keep us going .

    I’m fully on board with everything you say and do Hannah! But I am a teensy but bummed about how the nuts advice was stated …everyone has different needs/caloric requirements/tastes on a plant based vegan diet and everyone should be accepted and set up for their own version of happiness and success especially while transitioning. And while I tend to go for those more fiber rich snacks too, I don’t think nuts are even on the spectrum of “to be avoided” for most folks without an allergy. I think nuts make some people feel great!
    I think I know what you were trying to say but maybe just could have been said with a little more emphasis on personal preference rather than what to snack on vs. what to avoid.

    I would argue most of us go vegan 6-10 years and then quit after doing it the right way.

      It’s not a natural diet for life. Veganism in the wild seems to be out of necessity, never by choice imo.

    • @emmag2329
      @emmag2329 2 роки тому +5

    • @kellymanfredini3835
      @kellymanfredini3835 2 роки тому +5

      It is restrictive. And not sustainable if you don't do it right. Especially not eating enough calories, which is hard to do when you are whole food based heavy. I found it easier when I stopped limiting myself to only whole foods.

    Just want to say that your vegan videos this year and vegan for good course are just so so great! I'm a few months away from my 5-year vegan anniversary. It's been critical for me to the have the support of a close vegan friend to stick with it so the support you're providing via your videos and course are so important! Love the bangs, too!

    Definitely needed to see!! My oldest daughter sent this video to me because my daughter with Autism and I are struggling with snacks. I've been more vegetarian and she's up/down Vegan but we both want to go 100% plant based!! My other 3 adult kids are plant based and sometimes junk food vegan... Love this video!!!!! 💕💕💕

    I went vegan but in spite of my biggest efforts, I didn't manage to keep up my iron & B12 and I ended up with anemia after only 9 months. I did everything by the book and worked with a nutritionist who helped me out with supplements but even that wasn't enough. A few weeks of eggs, fish and chicken liver brought me back to life. That was 7 years ago - but I do my best to incorporate plant-based or at least vegetarian meals as much as I can.

    • @hazelscobbie8290
      @hazelscobbie8290 2 роки тому +2

      My partner got severe anemia it almost left him with angina. I see a lot of people suffer with it. He had to get 4 pints of blood and a 2 units of liquid iron. He looked so washed out and almost like he was dying.

    • @rrr441
      @rrr441 2 роки тому +2

      Yes it is a very tricky lifestyle to maintain if your body doesn't absorb or store iron properly. Even on an omnivore diet (though I try to be mostly vegetarian) and with supplements, I have iron deficiency. I couldn't be vegan even if I wanted to.

    I feel very emotional. I’ve tried and failed going vegan for years. I want to do it for the planet and animals and myself, but have never been able to stick with it for one reason or another. I just signed up for your course, and I feel like this is a game-changer for me. Thank you! And thank you for making it accessible for those that are gluten free. Hi Hannah ! Is your course going to stay that high !!! Compared to all the programs I got and from professionals or from people who really struggled with health problems are really much more affordable like $79 for digital and understand that when you are unwell you may not be able to pay such a high price for granolas . Are they any Heath tips you gathered from your personal research included ?
    I like your vibes, I feel a bit down right now so I would have taken the program hands down cause I have been following you since you started and would have loved to support you . By the way I e mailed you and nobody answered. :/
    Maybe one day if you do a promo on your program I will get it 💛💚💜 but right now I am really broke and on the other hand they are lots of info out there on the internet with real proven facts knowledges . I guess I would have been happy to just have a fun program but right now I am sick so I follow Anthony Williams, FullyRaw kristina and Chris Wark .
    I loved your sister s channel cause it is really much more about health and helping people oh well it used to be because now her channel is just about business and her children and even her cooking changed.
    Well just to say I was really disappointed about the price considering all the channels and internet info and books you can find everywhere now it is really mainstream now compared when I started 15 years ago . But as I felt close to you since I know you, I was as excited as you ! plus since the pandemic I couldn’t find barely anything to eat , I had a rough time and no job I needed a little light for this year and easiness and brightness into my life but I cannot afford it and still need to buy groceries lol
    Lots of love anyways
    The best :)

    Yes to everything 😍. I love stuffed dates, where you fill the date half with nut butter and top with a walnut or pecan half. It’s delicious! Also, ants on a log is a little more work, but such a great combo of flavours and textures. Homemade hummus and crudité is such a great snack, I 100% agree!

    nuts can do that to someone if he has like a small allergic reaction to some nuts . For me personally at the moment nuts are giving me vital energy during the day .i try to pre soak them and i make many dressings so this helps too in the absorption and digestion . but there are times which i do not need any fattening foods , i mostly go to avos too . other times in my life i needed like crazy protein like beans and chickpeas, there were times which i ate whole barley like crazy . these past years i am consuming a ton of greens , beets , i need green healing soups like from nettle . so my point is that our body has phases and we adjust it's seasonal phases... now i carry with me an organic ginger drink , medjool dates, apples, raisins and if i have the time i prepare a good salad...i love making my own bars but at the moment my time management is not so good ! you look radiant Hannah !!! hug !!!

    So I am already gluten and dairy free, have been for 3 years, and only eat white meat and fish. I never cook it for myself when I’m in my own apartment but going home to see family for the holidays… I ate so much meat and it made me feel so icky. My boyfriend is vegetarian and dairy free, so really it’s not a huge hurdle for me. The most important thing is to make sure I’m eating balanced meals so that I’m not starving myself
