Me studying Anotomy, geometry, math just to draw anime girls Edit: ty for 232 liky wikeys Edit 2: ty for 323 likes also update you gotta study physics to understand pose more😭
Thank you so much!! I never really understood exactly what I was doing wrong when I tried to draw that angle.. This is incredibly helpful! Definitely gonna use this as refs for next time lol
Man this is something that's always difficult, thank you for this. I've spent lots of time trying to draw from reference but it's hard to get it to look right still, this is helpful
One thing I seen in another video was a person used a circle and drew a cube in it. It was to help with learning cube drawings. I took that to make my heads in the direction I want it too face.
The main problem is not being anatomically correct, but rather making it appealing, I think the solution is to not draw hard lines for the jaw, because it's rounded in real life, showing transition with shadow instead or a hatched line should work probably
I feel like the ear on the corrected picture are a bit too low down, because usually the earlobe is alligned with the base of the nose, and the tip of the ears is close to being level with the corner of the eyes
Even if he does, most people don't have it and lots of artists still struggle with anatomy. So, getting a reason for why something looks the way it does is really helpful, and I've noticed that for myself as well. I don't really struggle at drawing necks that much, but there are still many parts that I can't draw yet, because while I can picture them, I don't picture them *correctly.*

How to draw the head accurately from any angle:
1. Acquire a model of the head, real or 3D.
2. Look at the head model while drawing.
3. Go into a soliloquy about Yorick.
Thank you! Amazing!
@@maxis2k Alas, poor Yorick!
I knew him, Horatio.
A fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy.

Amazing! Thank you!
I'm actually prepared for that skeleton jumpscare, thankfully there wasnt one
Tell me mathematically at what angle do I start to see the underside of the jaw, because I also know the jaw comes in a bit.
Even I noticed this one- dude looked like he was prepared to impale me with his jaw.
It’s an area I tend to avoid more out of preference because no matter how anyone draws it, it always looks off to me.
Thanks!
