I like this video. It's a very good video showcasing what the device can do for people who's interested in Electribe Sampler. Perfect introduction to the device. I've been searching videos that do that, and there aren't too many.
Great video! Easily one of the best electribe demonstrations I've seen. Just picked up one of these yesterday. Super stoked to have dedicated hardware for making drum sounds. Never really felt quite right programming MIDI notes with my mouse or even a controller.
I've just bought the red version of this second hand on Ebay and this is SO useful as an intro to the features! Many thanks and please keep up the good work.
I got both the blue synth and the red sampler. I haven't used the sampler as much as the synth version yet but I will be. Looks really good fun and I can see it does lots of things, Many thanks for the video!
@@waynesilverman3048 To me they are pretty good for the type of music I produce which is mainly edm house and techno type stuff. It has a grainy feel to it which is the sound I like.
@@hotlobsterrocks1778 yes.I make psych trance but feel the 1st electribe emx has better produced videos especially the stuff their doing with the knobs (maybe more videos was made on the emx) to connect to ableton is all u need is a usb phone lead ?(my pc is wireless but has things at the back to connect stuff)
Very nice tutorial. It gives a different perspective on how to use this instrument... it looks as if each pad you can assign a sample and then after choosing (selecting/activating) that particular pad the entire 16 pads are then used for that one individual pad...? meaning if you selected a sample for say pad one (upper left most) and it is a synth, the entire 16 pads can be used to create a melody for it. Almost if as if/almost as though each pad has its own 16 pads as a sub-category. Am I off here, or is this true? Great video btw, one of the best out on the Korg Electribe Sampler 2. Great job
Subscribed. No over-produced intro, no request to like the video or subscribe to the channel before I've seen it, didn't try to sell me anything up front...just got right down to business. Let's take a note from this channel and not make UA-cam the "New TV". 👍🏽
nice sounds. I like how you freaked those sounds so much you made me decide to go ahead and buy one. I'll be checking for your vids for inspiration....
It's so much better when you use it with an external sequencer. Like the Yamaha rs 7000. Or akai mpc. Eliminates. 4 bar pattern restriction . Es2 sample management sucks. Mines isin it's box until the next. Os update. I'm on the esx 1 and still love it
Could someone help me please ?I'm torn between the sampler and electribe 2 synth. I want to jam away from my PC.. but maybe not limited to the sounds on a synth (which always sound a bit 'cheap' to me)..Can I load multisamples / wav samples to the sd card and then use them? This would make the sampler a better option for me.. Are you limited by size / length of sample? How many can you put on the machine.. and do you need to do a lengthy sample add process every time you turn the machine off and on again?
I believe you are limited to 60 seconds of total sample time on each set of SD card. You can then extend that by having multiple 1G/2G SD cards, each can hold different sets of samples.
I was gonna ask what orb track he was doing ,I like your music with the e lectribes old and new,do u know if i can make psych trance on the electribe 2 sampler just as good if not better then the emx?
Mitsubishi, what I mostly would like to know please is how to get the synth perc2 sound from the emx like a skidgy sound but how do u get synth perc2 sound on the electribe 2 sampler ?

Yes you're correct that's exactly how it works. Thanks for the comments.

Can you hook up midi keyboard to it, and lets say use some keys for launching patterns and some to play samples, everything at same time?
This is a very powerful machine
Thanks for this decent tutorial. Which 3 pads are set as default to synth patches? Do you have any other ES2 tuts?
...And the Orbital track?
;)
nice tune uv made there pal

can you use the pads to enter notes/steps in an external sequencer? Or is it better to use another controller?
+krakou2 I believe you can do either one. Use esx2. As controller and or control es2 from hardware sequencer like rs 7000 or akai mpc
then you could just as well use a Volca Sample with your external seq?
I didn't hear any Calvin Harris or daft Punk or orbital... Total click bait
I love the Bass! Ist it a Sinus with Compressor??

ayyyy electribe sampler or regular one???
Both.
I've recently got the same sampler, but the sequencer only plays the same note no matter what pad i press, it's really confusing me lol
Jerin Parsons u may be wanting keyboard mode then..?
are these all stock sounds?
Yea
Fuuuuuuck. That was awesome
Cool Jam !
Came to hear electribe covers of orbital/daft punk/Calvin Harris. Didn't hear any.
