I've met people who have had/still have a huge impact on me and who I have developed close and collaborative relationships with online first, that I've also gone on to meet in person. We live in interesting times where that is no longer a strange thing. Hopefully this discord will be somewhere where all of you can do the same - interesting chats, find new and useful connections etc. Also my assumption is that this community will grow organically and become self sustaining if it's going to exist at all. So think of me as an intermittently present creator who often totally forgets about a planet he's made then quickly rushes to make sure they haven't turned on each other. Well robotics is a good start. Plastics and some newer metal blends do last a really long time. Just have to get down to the consciousness transfer into these more reliable material compositions, I suppose. 🤷 Might need a few ENTPs to test it on first too.
@@Gio-sx7kt The problem with that idea is that we currently don't quite understand what "consciousness" even _is,_ let alone how to transfer it. It seems to be neither hardware nor software, but rather some kind of emergent property of the functioning of the whole system. If that's what it is, it might not even be transferable in any conventional sense.

Depends from where you come. For me as an ENFP it was a bit of a struggle, but after having seen a lot of videos and rethought the situations I guess you are right.
INTP: I am interested in exploring Hell as long as I am there anyway,... and finding out if it actually exists or if it is a mind "virtual reality", (which is what I suspect), but I am open to more information. Lucifer was never created to tempt man, he made that decision himself. Lucifer was originally a high ranking angel in heaven, but one day wanted to be like God which is obviously wrong, so he was cast out of heaven along with the other angels who sided with him. "satan" is a hebrew title, meaning opposer/enemy, so he DEFINITELY is working against God. to clarify here: - the title of "satan" goes for any spiritual being against God - lucifer can be considered the head of this opposition as he was the first angel casted down from heaven - fallen angels are the equivalent of demons , they are the same entity lucifer's name indeed is related to light, but that was before the fall. now he along with the other demons go around trying to drag souls to hell cause they hate humans, and yes hell is eternal. you mentioned reincarnation here, that is not biblical. as humans, we have only one chance to make the decision to accept Christ in order to go to heaven. if that decision isn't made before death, that's that. judgment is final if one isn't saved. 2. First off, the entire concept of religion needs to be thrown out the window. God literally does not care about what you believe. the God of the Bible does care about what you believe. simply just refer to the 10 commandments given to Moses on mt. sinai as well as the greatest commandment stated by Jesus of which all the other hundreds of jewish laws fall under: "Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.'” (Matt 22:37-40) following God does mean to believe in Him and represent Him to the entire world, that's the literal point the Bible presents to us. our beliefs are directly related to our belief and faith in God. what God declares as good or bad is final, as His being is literally the source, power, and definition of good. 3. The only things that matter to him are your actions, and intentions. As long as you're a good person, you'll go to Heaven. completely incorrect as the Bible continuously makes the point that through grace we are saved, not by our works. salvation within the Bible is entirely dependant on faith in Jesus, not faith in our own works. paul in ephesians 2 wrote: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:8-10) 4. This is because religion was created to control people. i don't necessarily know what you mean by "religion" in this context, but many would debate that statement. religion wasn't really made to "control" people, but more so was created to explore the concept of our origins and our purpose in life. control can come through a corrupt system of religion, but religion itself isn't controlling as it's based on faith. if we're speaking about christianity though as a system to "control" people, again that would be debated as it really isn't a "controlling" system if you just love God. this ties into the whole works and salvation deal as well. by having faith and belief in Jesus we are saved, but with that faith produces works--not the other way around. so in this sense, works are dependant on faith, and the amount of "control" one can feel is based on their faith and knowledge of God of who He truly is. tbh as a christian, it really isn't controlling at all if you know your stuff. 5. i skimmed through and you mentioned reincarnation of the sorts? idk but again just know reincarnation isn't a biblical concept at all. no human or being for that matter is ever reincarnated. 6. Ask God if you're confused about any one thing, but you probably already know right/wrong, follow your heart, and you'll be fine. i do agree with this statement on asking God if we're confused about things, but one thing i have to point out is that yes He has written the basic morals of right/wrong on our hearts, but this shouldn't be an excuse to not ask Him about important things. ik you definitely didn't mean something like that, but the wording is kind of weird? we aren't called to follow our hearts at all, but we're called to follow God and even deny our flesh/hearts. we aren't to rely on ourselves at all bc we're destined to fail due to our fallen nature, and i can definitely testify to that as i've tried that before and it was catastrophic lol! i'll just drop these four verses in response: "The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?" (Jeremiah 17:9) "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6) "There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death." (Proverbs 14:12 ) "Then Jesus said to His disciples, 'If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.'" (Matthew 16:24-25) 7. Don't get me wrong, God guided the authors of the Bible, there's good lessons to be learned in there, but he did the same for the Bhagavad Gita, and many other religions. You'll find truth in them all... God didn't do the same to other religions. other religions/gods according to christianity are all considered to be false truths/idols that were created by satan to steer man off the course of figuring out the actual truth. the Bible makes the issue of other religions very clear, you can look it up for yourself. that concludes my very long list of points and reasoning! i don;t know who you are or what religion or god you believe in, but if we're talking about christianity, the Bible presents to us an objective reasoning, not a subjective one.
Infp here, I would definitely do an infj and ask Satan how he feels, probably chat with other sinners, see what they got up to. @Shinobi 28 hey i'm a christian here, sorry i didn't really read the whole paragraph you wrote bc it's wayy too long for me to read right now but if we're talking about the God of the Bible (Yahweh) the first few words of your block of text along with your first comment are theologically incorrect.
1. your first comment about satan is unbiblical. Lucifer was never created to tempt man, he made that decision himself. Lucifer was originally a high ranking angel in heaven, but one day wanted to be like God which is obviously wrong, so he was cast out of heaven along with the other angels who sided with him. "satan" is a hebrew title, meaning opposer/enemy, so he DEFINITELY is working against God. to clarify here:
- the title of "satan" goes for any spiritual being against God
- lucifer can be considered the head of this opposition as he was the first angel casted down from heaven
- fallen angels are the equivalent of demons
, they are the same entity
lucifer's name indeed is related to light, but that was before the fall. now he along with the other demons go around trying to drag souls to hell cause they hate humans, and yes hell is eternal.
you mentioned reincarnation here, that is not biblical. as humans, we have only one chance to make the decision to accept Christ in order to go to heaven. if that decision isn't made before death, that's that. judgment is final if one isn't saved.
2. First off, the entire concept of religion needs to be thrown out the window. God literally does not care about what you believe.
the God of the Bible does care about what you believe. simply just refer to the 10 commandments given to Moses on mt. sinai as well as the greatest commandment stated by Jesus of which all the other hundreds of jewish laws fall under:
"Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.'” (Matt 22:37-40)
following God does mean to believe in Him and represent Him to the entire world, that's the literal point the Bible presents to us. our beliefs are directly related to our belief and faith in God. what God declares as good or bad is final, as His being is literally the source, power, and definition of good.
3. The only things that matter to him are your actions, and intentions. As long as you're a good person, you'll go to Heaven.
completely incorrect as the Bible continuously makes the point that through grace we are saved, not by our works. salvation within the Bible is entirely dependant on faith in Jesus, not faith in our own works. paul in ephesians 2 wrote:
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:8-10)
4. This is because religion was created to control people.
i don't necessarily know what you mean by "religion" in this context, but many would debate that statement. religion wasn't really made to "control" people, but more so was created to explore the concept of our origins and our purpose in life. control can come through a corrupt system of religion, but religion itself isn't controlling as it's based on faith. if we're speaking about christianity though as a system to "control" people, again that would be debated as it really isn't a "controlling" system if you just love God. this ties into the whole works and salvation deal as well. by having faith and belief in Jesus we are saved, but with that faith produces works--not the other way around. so in this sense, works are dependant on faith, and the amount of "control" one can feel is based on their faith and knowledge of God of who He truly is. tbh as a christian, it really isn't controlling at all if you know your stuff.
5. i skimmed through and you mentioned reincarnation of the sorts? idk but again just know reincarnation isn't a biblical concept at all. no human or being for that matter is ever reincarnated.
6. Ask God if you're confused about any one thing, but you probably already know right/wrong, follow your heart, and you'll be fine.
i do agree with this statement on asking God if we're confused about things, but one thing i have to point out is that yes He has written the basic morals of right/wrong on our hearts, but this shouldn't be an excuse to not ask Him about important things. ik you definitely didn't mean something like that, but the wording is kind of weird? we aren't called to follow our hearts at all, but we're called to follow God and even deny our flesh/hearts. we aren't to rely on ourselves at all bc we're destined to fail due to our fallen nature, and i can definitely testify to that as i've tried that before and it was catastrophic lol! i'll just drop these four verses in response:
"The heart is deceitful above all things,
And desperately wicked; Who can know it?" (Jeremiah 17:9)
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6)
"There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death." (Proverbs 14:12 )
"Then Jesus said to His disciples, 'If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.'" (Matthew 16:24-25)
7. Don't get me wrong, God guided the authors of the Bible, there's good lessons to be learned in there, but he did the same for the Bhagavad Gita, and many other religions. You'll find truth in them all...
God didn't do the same to other religions. other religions/gods according to christianity are all considered to be false truths/idols that were created by satan to steer man off the course of figuring out the actual truth. the Bible makes the issue of other religions very clear, you can look it up for yourself.
that concludes my very long list of points and reasoning! i don;t know who you are or what religion or god you believe in, but if we're talking about christianity, the Bible presents to us an objective reasoning, not a subjective one.
Infp here, I would definitely do an infj and ask Satan how he feels, probably chat with other sinners, see what they got up to. I feel like hell would be more interesting than real life, no wonder our punishment is the boring disappointment of reality xD

Personally I've been in hell a few times. I was made to go to a real party, with alcohol, loud music, HEAPS of unknown people, absolutely NOTHING productive or useful to do and I was FORBIDDEN from hiding in a corner and reading a book. In short, a nightmare.
