Well done. Easy to follow. Thanks. I agree re: the configuration of the oil filter location. I also struggled with the oil pan screw but know how to get it done now thanks to your video.
Awesome tutorial Mr Chris!! I would love to have a simple gator like that to replace the ole ezgo golf cart!! Man you keep your equy in tip top shape!! Enjoyed the service, and thank you for bringing us along!! Look fwd to seeing what's next!! 😁😁😁👍👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
@@dehavenfamilyfarm That actually is one thing we have been searching for since the beginning!! They seem to be more like dollars on dollars 😁😁 Yes sir always!
Good to go now! The few people I know that have gators seem to always have little issues that pop up continually. Take care of it Chris don't want you to have issues.
Good to see someone who actually cares and is doing maintenance on their GATOR ! Unlike my landlords GATOR that has never changed the oil & filter with almost 4500 EVERYDAY USE hours on it now 🤣 it's just starting to make noises from the engine kinda like IT AIN'T TOO MUCH LONGER BEFORE IT PERMANENTLY GOES TO SLEEP 💀
Looks like fun 🙄 Plastic plug 😳 never had any luck with plastic and oil... Would make me uneasy.. but the right plastic should hold up... Nice tutorial Chris 👍
Things are definitely getting too complicated! Luckily this Gators design is based on one that started back in the mid 90's and is pretty basic. Our other Gator is most certainly complicated though 😂
@@dehavenfamilyfarm Haha. And miss the potential opportunity of a problem develope on a John Deere project? I mean it was you working on it. Lol. Lol. Lol.
@@dehavenfamilyfarm I’m hoping so. We had 3 inches of rain over the weekend so it’s just to muddy to start playing with it where we want to use it first. After playing with it in the yard, I’ve learned I need lots of practice to become a smooth operator. I see these guys make running these things look easy. I made it look very difficult. Lol
Good one Chris, that Gator looks brand new, even from beneath, thanks for sharing
Thank you Jan! This Gator is only a few years old, but I try to take good care of it.

Good work Chris. A nice uncomplicated little machine. I have a 99 Honda 4trax 300 on the farm. I'm pretty sure it'll run forever.
Thank you! It's so easy to maintain. We have a Honda too- great machines!!
Good to go some more.👌 It looks like it is in very nice condition.
For another season at least. This Gator is only a few years old so it still looks new 🙂

A Gator would be extremely handy for you and your family. Maybe you can find one for pennies on the dollar and fix it up! Thanks Nelson 🙂

I like those ramps. Our honda pioneer is very close to the ground. Definitely a pain to get under them when they're low. That's for sharing Chris.
The ramps have been very useful this season in the shop. Don't think I would have fit under the Gator without them 😂 Thanks Monty!
Good to go now!

Sure is! Our 825i S4 has had some issues, but it's a much more complicated machine. These little Gators will run forever if maintained. Thanks 🙂
Hello from the Netherlands.
thanks for the video Chris .
Sincerely Hollandduck
Thanks for stopping by!! 🙂

Great video! Who makes the windshield/canopy set-up? Is that OEM JD?
Looks like fun 🙄

I'm not crazy about the drain plug either. I may look and see if a different one is available. Thanks Ed!! 🙂
@@dehavenfamilyfarm at least it's protected pretty good, but plastic doesn't really like heat and oil... Crazy
what size tires do you on this front and back?
What size socket!!!
Nice work
Plastic drain plug 🤔🤔🙁…but a handy little machine 👍🏻.
Not thrilled about the plastic drain plug either. Great farm machine for sure! Thanks 🙂
I been trying to watch a video of how to take the oil filter but nobody shows. There is no room. I change the oil without replacing the oil filter. 😅
John Deere and simple don’t go in the same sentence anymore 🤦♂️🤬

Well that was a non eventful video. Lol.
Yes it was! It's nice to have something go right once in awhile. Didn't expect to see you here on this Green video- are you feeling ok?? 🤣🤣🤣

@@onehappyfarmer3461 That makes sense 😁😃 By the way, you are really going to enjoy the flexibility of the cutter on your mini.

They last a whole lot longer when you stay on top of the maintenance good job Chris. 🧰😊☕
They sure do! And stuff is to expensive now days to not take care of it. Thank you sir!!
