It's been a hell of a ride my brethren. I appreciate all of you being a part of this journey. I love YuGiOh and I always will. But now the chapter ends. It will be back in future, 100%. Personally, for me, my favorite part of this video was the heart of the cards moment with yami yugi and yugi, when I was animating that part, it really brought me back to being a kid. I actually recently found my old cards, some of them are worth a lot of money, but i will never sell them, they are my childhood. I hope you guys enjoyed this, it's been a pleasure creating this series.

Man i remember when i first came across Rick vs Yugi on the Shorts tab. It felt like a surrealist comedy. But after watching all of the videos, this project had more heart and soul put into it than a lot of Hollywood stuff produced these days. Whatever path you walk down from this point, i hope it continues to have this same level of passion behind it

Faith is belief in something that cannot be proven. What was about to happen had been done time and time again. If by heart of the cards you mean using magic to draw the exact card needed, then yeah. Which apparently atem is unable to win a duel without doing.

Yes, when times are dire, he can draw the card with the best chance of winning, but the last duel between Yugi and Atem showed that even the card that gives the best chance can still be outplayed. So you still need to have faith in your deck, and your skills, to be able to overcome against all odds. Hold onto your duelist's pride, and don't give up!
@@ytmikelol yes, victory isn't guaranteed, but more of atem's victories involve him drawing the card he nèeds with his cheater necklace than don't. And this strategy failed him exactly once. The one time he needed it to, funnily enough.
Here after Rick finally got his revenge against Prime, for me this duel is a headcanon before the actual confrontation in the series B) Love this community and series

I just realized in this universe with the timing of the Rick Sanchez arc, the last arc with Bakura is going to be a heck of a lot shorter. The Pharoah already knows his name lol I doubt Bakura will see that coming. Amazing series with a satisfying ending, thank you!

Almost as emotional as the original ending of Yugioh Duel Monsters and twice as epic a battle as any of the movies! Let's make some noise for our boy Fabersoul!! Seriously a typical duel ending for our man Atem but it was a hell of a ride getting here and I love all the little Easter Eggs you in in there. One I think many won't catch is Maliphis using part of Anubis' chant from the first Yugioh movie. Hecta, penta, naar en sesha indeed. Fitting given if there was a reboot I would love to see Maliphus as the main villain. Heck would love to see more of your Millennium World lore in general. But I won't pressure you and to anyone who says Faber should just make a game I want to point something out with 20 years of coding experience: making cut scnes play in Unreal is pretty cheap and simple. Making a full blown game when you only have shown experience with just turning it into movie player is impressive but that doesn't hint that Faber wants the stress or has any interest in learning the grueling process of video game creation. I think he's on the right path breaking into industry few know exist. Though if he wants to one day I would support it but only if it's his own desire/he has prepared himself the trial.
Technically the chant from the first Yugioh movie is actually a verse from the Book of the Dead. Just whispered creepy. It's why it sound so fucking creepy and also distinctly Yugioh.

What happens now is he might go to the dragon ball Z universe remember Rick prime wouldn’t meet Rick by his true self and Rick is still looking for him in the show so he’ll go after the 7 stared dragon balls and find out the true location of the real Rick prime but we’ll have to see if Fabersoal still wants to continue with that plot point.

These are great. One thing that would be a big improvement though is if you had the numbers count down/up rather then instantly change. Your doing the sound effect for it, so I think it would be a great addition
I haven't enjoyed Yugioh for a solid decade now -- the game has just evolved in a way that I no longer care for. But this video -- this series of videos, rather -- was really something, man. Just a tremendous job all-around. You should be really proud of this, honestly.

This duel was the best one so far. Love the little Yugi with the heart of the cards and when Rick finally called the pharoh Atem 100/10 for me, i love these duels can you do an episode on just the cards Rick had. Just hope these get better in the future when these come back
Im not gonna lie all your yugioh and rick and morty videos felt like great watches. I also love how you made all the cards feel real and not too over the top but still keep the anime emotion roller coaster. It was so well done and truly shows how much time you put in your work. Now if only all those cards you made were available in the actual game. Just the simple stuff like the different Ricks would be an awesome crossover. Also the Egyptian god fusions and dark gods would be so cool. They dont seem that busted the way you made them but still counterable as a great boss monster. It would also really reignite my love for the classic Egyptian God cards.
Watching this whole thing play out has been amazing and I love how this ended. This truly feels like a love letter to Yu-Gi-Oh and im here for it. You did an amazing job and i cant wait to see your future work.

Brilliantly done. Fantastic storyline, dialogue, animation style, and voice work too! Hope you are able to create more of these (with Joey vs Rick too) in the future. Can't thank you enough! Idea: Perhaps you could have Joey vs Rick come after Joey was released? Like maybe Joey wants to fight Rick since Rick locked him up (taking place after Rick set Joey free)? Or an alternative idea, now that Joey is freed, maybe he comes in the way of the final fight of Rick vs Vegeta? Or at least some short would be nice with Joey getting freed since he was another main character. But I'm sure whatever you come up with will be perfect! Lol, Thanks again!
I like how Onuris effect is a mix between Obelisk's and Slifer's. Also, its atk/def points are fixed like Obelisk, but to 6000 which is usually the maximum points Slifer can have with 6 cards in the hand.
Onuris (aka Anhur, the Slayer of Enemies) is the Egyptian god of war and a symbol of the Egyptian military. He is depicted as wearing a 4 plumed crown and carrying a spear. Occasionally he is depicted with the head of a lion. He is the son of the god Ra.

I'm gonna try describing Onuris's card description: Onuris The Thundering Tormentor [Divine-Beast/Fusion/Effect] "Slifer the Sky Dragon" , "Obelisk the Tormentor" Cannot be special summoned, except by the effects of "Divine Fusion." Must only use the materials stated. Unaffected by card effects and cannot be targeted by card effects. Cannot be used to tribute summon. If special summoned successfully, all monsters on your opponent's side of the field have their ATK/DEF reduced to 0. During Battle Phase, this monster can attack based on the number of cards in the player's hand (max 3). If this monster is destroyed and sent to the graveyard, banish it, then special summon either "Slifer the Sky Dragon" or "Obelisk the Tormentor" from the GY, if either monster is special summoned successfully, they do not get sent to the GY.

Almost as emotional as the original ending of Yugioh Duel Monsters and twice as epic a battle as any of the movies! Let's make some noise for our boy Fabersoul!! Seriously a typical duel ending for our man Atem but it was a hell of a ride getting here and I love all the little Easter Eggs you in in there. One I think many won't catch is Maliphis using part of Anubis' chant from the first Yugioh movie. Hecta, penta, naar en sesha indeed. Fitting given if there was a reboot I would love to see Maliphus as the main villain. Heck would love to see more of your Millennium World lore in general.
But I won't pressure you and to anyone who says Faber should just make a game I want to point something out with 20 years of coding experience: making cut scnes play in Unreal is pretty cheap and simple. Making a full blown game when you only have shown experience with just turning it into movie player is impressive but that doesn't hint that Faber wants the stress or has any interest in learning the grueling process of video game creation. I think he's on the right path breaking into industry few know exist.
Though if he wants to one day I would support it but only if it's his own desire/he has prepared himself the trial.
Technically the chant from the first Yugioh movie is actually a verse from the Book of the Dead. Just whispered creepy. It's why it sound so fucking creepy and also distinctly Yugioh.

What happens now is he might go to the dragon ball Z universe remember Rick prime wouldn’t meet Rick by his true self and Rick is still looking for him in the show so he’ll go after the 7 stared dragon balls and find out the true location of the real Rick prime but we’ll have to see if Fabersoal still wants to continue with that plot point.
I hope he does because Dragon Ball Z is supposed to be the last part of this story so I hope he will finish it properly but I have faith that he will

I love how Rick exploited Atem's puzzle box luck manipulation. It's always strongest when Atem's about to lose as long as Atem has an out in his deck.

This duel was the best one so far. Love the little Yugi with the heart of the cards and when Rick finally called the pharoh Atem 100/10 for me, i love these duels can you do an episode on just the cards Rick had. Just hope these get better in the future when these come back

Im not gonna lie all your yugioh and rick and morty videos felt like great watches. I also love how you made all the cards feel real and not too over the top but still keep the anime emotion roller coaster. It was so well done and truly shows how much time you put in your work.
Now if only all those cards you made were available in the actual game. Just the simple stuff like the different Ricks would be an awesome crossover. Also the Egyptian god fusions and dark gods would be so cool. They dont seem that busted the way you made them but still counterable as a great boss monster. It would also really reignite my love for the classic Egyptian God cards.

Idea: Perhaps you could have Joey vs Rick come after Joey was released? Like maybe Joey wants to fight Rick since Rick locked him up (taking place after Rick set Joey free)? Or an alternative idea, now that Joey is freed, maybe he comes in the way of the final fight of Rick vs Vegeta? Or at least some short would be nice with Joey getting freed since he was another main character. But I'm sure whatever you come up with will be perfect! Lol, Thanks again!

I like how Onuris effect is a mix between Obelisk's and Slifer's. Also, its atk/def points are fixed like Obelisk, but to 6000 which is usually the maximum points Slifer can have with 6 cards in the hand.
Onuris (aka Anhur, the Slayer of Enemies) is the Egyptian god of war and a symbol of the Egyptian military. He is depicted as wearing a 4 plumed crown and carrying a spear. Occasionally he is depicted with the head of a lion. He is the son of the god Ra.
I love this so much, the new cards, the Pharo using new Dark magician cards, the references to Rick and Morty's episodes. It was great

Watching this video & others since the beginning has been an absolute joy to watch, & thanks you it has revitalize my love for the Yu-Gi-Oh series. I missed playing it & I still love the anime. I'm really happy with it, & I love the ending of Rick & Yugi smiling to each other as a new friendship was formed after they depart. I really hope its not the end of it & it would be really nice to see them team up again. I hope you do like another season of it were a new threat appears, with Rick & Yugi teaming up again, with more allies & new cards to play. I hoped to see more of those Dark Egyptian Gods in the future
