Rick not knowing what the Millennium Puzzle does is why it didn't end in a draw. He didn't figure out from the first three coin flips that the puzzle is deciding the outcome of luck-based effects for Atem. Because of that, he went for the safer option of rolling the dice to gain attack points instead of the 3 card draw because he figured the odds of winning on that turn were higher than getting the cards needed from 3 draws, but that was the worst decision to make if you know that the Puzzle makes it so you win all luck-based effects.
Yami's a Cheater Not Only Does He Use the Mellinium-Puzzle to Get the Cards He - Want/Need - s But He Also Uses it to Cheat Others Out of Victories By Messing with His Opponents Game as Well & He's Supposed to Be a Role-Model (Leave it to Fate Yeah Right)
I love that in-universe, people just aren't allowed to check the effects of opponent's cards. I guess its kinda like an automated simulator in the sense the duel disk won't allow cheating but it goes to show the phrase "Yu-Gi-Oh! players can't read" is actually just canon.
Rick's so good at this game, he managed to not only predict most of Atem's moves and control Ra, but also force Atem to cheat via his puzzle to force a favorable dice roll. Him having Izanagi seems a bit TOO powerful though, given he has a full jar of sharingan eyes.
@@Johan....not cheating. Millennium Items are allowed in Shadow games. In fact, Rick’s the one who allowed for the pharaoh to use the puzzle by making it a shadow game.

According to the card, the third ability of Meeseek’s box is selecting a spell from the graveyard to add to your hand from the looks of it. In case if anyone was curious.
This duel is so incredibly badass to watch, especially all in one video. But it did let me notice something Obviously, the pharaoh cheated right at the end to guarantee his win with the probability control abilities, but it’s a moot point. The field spell that Rick is using it supposed to increase Ray’s Attack Points during the end phase of every turn, it stays at 6550 for longer than it should be. We were told that the coin flip in valley of the sun god is activated during the end phase, as a result, it is the end phase and ATA’s Atrack would be 7050 on the turn that disgraceful charity is used. But it also means that Ra could not attack that turn because the end phase had to occur. we can assume that the pharaoh would still use reckless greed, to bump Slifer’s attack to 7000, however, this is going to leave Atem at 50 life points, and it means that Rick would win, he would probably still use Mr. Meeseeks to increase Ra’s attack even further because Rick is a big fan of humiliating people as he beats them
It’s defo better watching it all at once 😌. This whole series must’ve taken ages to make… really well made 10/10. I’m interested what the next ones gon be

3:13 Level 3 Pickle Rick breaks into a Capoeira stance…. Memories of his ‘assassin days’ gave him a hankering for capoeira. That’s one classy hit-man/pickle.
Wait a minute, Rick should have won. Valley of the sun god gives Ra 500 atk at the end of each turn and Atem must flip a coin. A coin has been flipped three times, however Ra only gained Atk twice. he spawned with 5550 (which add up with the effect of ancient chant)and after three turns he has 6550, which should have been 5550+(500x3)=7050, giving slifer 50 atk to short... Anyhow nevermind this, Ra was on the field for just 2 turns. I'm dumb, i thought the coin flip was a mandatory effect in the end phase, however Rick could choose when to use that effect... Sorry It was still quite enjoyable, thanks
Thing is, Rick cheated at the end. He should not have been able to use Meeseeks Box _because he was the one declaring an attack,_ and the text for Meeseeks Box states that its effect is activated when the opponent declares an attack.
@@Hyperneosonic97 hmm fair enough I guess, but with what I saw in the anime and this vid is that even tho it's the opponents battle phase, you attack them back. So I always saw this as a grey area. Altho I do believe that in the card game Rick wouldn't have been able to use the effect.

Roll a six-sided die. Your selected monster gains attack points during damage calculation only equal to the result x200. - Select 1 Spell or Trap card from your GY and add it to your hand."

IDK if it was the drink or the animation but I really feel the magic of watching old school Yu-Gi-Oh by seeing this in full, and I remember seeing clips of it and not having this feeling but this just hits a soft spot I didn't know I had. Thank you, OP
That thing with the puzzle reminds me of the rap battle between Atem and Jaden. Specifically the line where he says "In fact all my opponents could swear I cheated."
I know most think Atem is the cheat, but it's actually Yugi that's the cheat. When Atem was separated from Yugi (ie, his thoughts were no longer being processed by Yugi's brain), only Yugi cheated.
The only exception is the Meeseeks Box, which is so good that I believe it would become I think the second card ever to be banned before even being put into circulation.
It's kinda balanced since you have to pay 1000 life points to use only one of its effects once per turn. Imagine if you can use all its effects on the same turn.
@@MasterJunior93 One of the better cards in this game lets you draw 1 card by paying 1 thousand life points, imagine how overpowered a continuous draw 3 cards per turn would be if "chicken game" a card that let *both* players draw 1 card per turn was outright banned.
@@Aboushanab99 the eye with a red iris Rick puts on in the middle of the duel is a Sharingan, a special eye capable of performing ocular jutsu, from Naruto. From what I noticed, he used two: the Susanoo, which typically requires two of these eyes, that he uses to try to protect himself from Slifer’s attack; and Izanagi, which is revealed at the end to have been active. The Izanagi makes it so that reality is rewritten if the caster of the jutsu dies to make him survive instead, at the cost of the eye losing its powers and becoming blind
@@Graxil Eternal Mangekyo can also negate that drawback as well as powering up the other abilities like Perfect Susanoo. I'm surprised Rick didn't give himself EMS, considering the feats we've seen him do, upgrading the Sharingan without being of Uchiha blood wouldn't be out of the question for him.
The writing for this is actually amazing. I don't know how Rick got Ra but I love how you gave him an entire custom deck with cards that not only fit him but also that make sense.
@@TheBd0g I mean, the anime had a card that made both players send all cards in their deck besides 3 cards to the GY, a card that banished all monsters in both decks and then destroyed all monsters on the field, a card that made both players draw until they had 6 cards, and a card that made you draw until you had 5 cards in your hand but made you discard your hand after 5 of your turns. I think that a card that lets you draw 3 but costs 1000 life points is reasonable. The only complaint I have is that Ra's effect wasn't correct but even the team behind Yu-Gi-Oh GX got its effect wrong so it's not a big deal.
@@Shugunou Paying 1000 life points to draw 3 cards is ridiculously op, that's basically a pot of greed on steroids, and pot of greed has been banned for a long time for how unbalanced it is (and that's only one of the effects, this has 3). But yes, there have been original cards, and actual cards that have been used in more ridiculous ways in the anime.
@G- It's ridiculously op in the real game but not in the anime where decks are usually less powerful. Pot Of Greed remained in use in the anime, even after being banned in real life. It wasn't until Vrains that they started applying the OCG banlist to the anime.
Watching this full duel captures the feeling I had actually watching Yu-Gi-Oh as a kid. The way the dual ends is realistic and captures the feeling I had actually playing Yu-Gi-Oh. Even when the odds are 2/3 in your favor sometimes your cards or luck just brick.

Do I need to remind you, we had a format where magical scientist, yata garsu, pot of greed, gracefully charity, cyberstein, chaos emperor dragon envoy of the end, and cannon soldier were all legal at three?
I never noticed how much Atem warned Rick that he didn't know what he was doing. Like, with him holding the puzzle while saying, "lucky isn't quite the word."

@@jacobbelfegor8761 I believe one of Ra’s effects is you can sacrifice all Life points until you have 100 left to increase Ra’s Atk and def, which can only be given when it’s summoned. Otherwise, Ra’s atk and Def would be 0.
I love that the original cards Rick has are actually fairly balanced. The duels pacing felt just right, the characters behave about how I would expect, this is just an amazing and fun video all around!
@@funbro99 Not for free, he had to pay 1k Life Points if you noticed. Which can be the difference between life or death. Doubly so in a deck without many options to gain life.
@Jessica T if meeseeks box was a real card, it would 100% be played in every deck, it's literally better pot of greed, generic draw cards are already the best cards ever made, with pot of gree being the best example, meeseeks box let's you draw MORE than the best and most overpowered draw effect, AND it has other abilities, although people would only ever use the draw or the bottom effect to return ANY spell or trap from your graveyard to your hand, so double monster reborn, double change of heart, double harpies feather duster, double raigeki, ect. And it doesn't even have to end there, you can return raigeki from your grave to your hand EVERY turn, and that's STILL weaker than drawing 3, absolutely busted but it does sound like tons of fun

I was honestly expecting crap but THIS feels like when you've actually read a crossover fanfiction. This is really good, especially the dialogue because it feels on point with their character.

What I'm trying to say is that the level of quality(at least on the writing and character aspect) is pretty much on par with what you could get with any good crossover fanfics out there. It isn't some shitpost that some would associate to any of those fan animation that uses some known and popular characters like in SFM and/or GMod animations for example. At least on this fan animation, the guy who made this knows how they say and act similar to how they did in their respective shows. And some of the voice lines are just hilarious. "DARK MAGICIAN, ATTACK PICKLE RICK!" 🤣🤣🤣 When will you encounter a line like that aside from this one? None. I'm aware that it's probably AI-generated but I would never imagine hearing Yugi/Atem saying something like that lol.

Wait a minute, Rick should have won. Valley of the sun god gives Ra 500 atk at the end of each turn and Atem must flip a coin. A coin has been flipped three times, however Ra only gained Atk twice. he spawned with 5550 (which add up with the effect of ancient chant)and after three turns he has 6550, which should have been 5550+(500x3)=7050, giving slifer 50 atk to short...
Anyhow nevermind this, Ra was on the field for just 2 turns. I'm dumb, i thought the coin flip was a mandatory effect in the end phase, however Rick could choose when to use that effect...

Thing is, Rick cheated at the end. He should not have been able to use Meeseeks Box _because he was the one declaring an attack,_ and the text for Meeseeks Box states that its effect is activated when the opponent declares an attack.
@@Hyperneosonic97 hmm fair enough I guess, but with what I saw in the anime and this vid is that even tho it's the opponents battle phase, you attack them back. So I always saw this as a grey area. Altho I do believe that in the card game Rick wouldn't have been able to use the effect.

I know most think Atem is the cheat, but it's actually Yugi that's the cheat. When Atem was separated from Yugi (ie, his thoughts were no longer being processed by Yugi's brain), only Yugi cheated.

From what I noticed, he used two: the Susanoo, which typically requires two of these eyes, that he uses to try to protect himself from Slifer’s attack; and Izanagi, which is revealed at the end to have been active. The Izanagi makes it so that reality is rewritten if the caster of the jutsu dies to make him survive instead, at the cost of the eye losing its powers and becoming blind

The writing for this is actually amazing. I don't know how Rick got Ra but I love how you gave him an entire custom deck with cards that not only fit him but also that make sense.

@@TheBd0g I mean, the anime had a card that made both players send all cards in their deck besides 3 cards to the GY, a card that banished all monsters in both decks and then destroyed all monsters on the field, a card that made both players draw until they had 6 cards, and a card that made you draw until you had 5 cards in your hand but made you discard your hand after 5 of your turns. I think that a card that lets you draw 3 but costs 1000 life points is reasonable. The only complaint I have is that Ra's effect wasn't correct but even the team behind Yu-Gi-Oh GX got its effect wrong so it's not a big deal.
@@Shugunou Paying 1000 life points to draw 3 cards is ridiculously op, that's basically a pot of greed on steroids, and pot of greed has been banned for a long time for how unbalanced it is (and that's only one of the effects, this has 3).
But yes, there have been original cards, and actual cards that have been used in more ridiculous ways in the anime.
@G- It's ridiculously op in the real game but not in the anime where decks are usually less powerful. Pot Of Greed remained in use in the anime, even after being banned in real life. It wasn't until Vrains that they started applying the OCG banlist to the anime.
Watching this full duel captures the feeling I had actually watching Yu-Gi-Oh as a kid. The way the dual ends is realistic and captures the feeling I had actually playing Yu-Gi-Oh. Even when the odds are 2/3 in your favor sometimes your cards or luck just brick.
This just reminds me that old school Yugioh was much more easier to understand & keep up with.

Personally Rick was a little off, I feel he would constantly be making fun of the game as he played.
I love that the original cards Rick has are actually fairly balanced. The duels pacing felt just right, the characters behave about how I would expect, this is just an amazing and fun video all around!

@Jessica T if meeseeks box was a real card, it would 100% be played in every deck, it's literally better pot of greed, generic draw cards are already the best cards ever made, with pot of gree being the best example, meeseeks box let's you draw MORE than the best and most overpowered draw effect, AND it has other abilities, although people would only ever use the draw or the bottom effect to return ANY spell or trap from your graveyard to your hand, so double monster reborn, double change of heart, double harpies feather duster, double raigeki, ect. And it doesn't even have to end there, you can return raigeki from your grave to your hand EVERY turn, and that's STILL weaker than drawing 3, absolutely busted but it does sound like tons of fun

What I'm trying to say is that the level of quality(at least on the writing and character aspect) is pretty much on par with what you could get with any good crossover fanfics out there. It isn't some shitpost that some would associate to any of those fan animation that uses some known and popular characters like in SFM and/or GMod animations for example. At least on this fan animation, the guy who made this knows how they say and act similar to how they did in their respective shows. And some of the voice lines are just hilarious.
