I can do 90 percent of my work with a TEKTON 3/8 set because of the range and type I have no plans to buy anything but TEKTON unless they don't make it
I gotta check these out. I started out in automotive industry about 8 months ago and I dont have much money so i went with harbor freight tools and what ever else i can get my hands on but i definitely have to check this company out seems to be pretty good quality (In my book) compared to some of the tools I have plus those orginizers are cool
As already noted the Icon line has a similar socket set to your Olsa brand. I think that the similarities outweigh the differences. I also believe you will like the quality of the Olsa sockets. Compared to the Icon set you do give away the ease of warranty being down at your local Harbor Freight. The Quinn line has been updated a bit in the last two years and they now have some pretty good value for sets that are much more complete than the original one you have. I recommend at least taking a look, the value is there.
Icon and Olsa are not really that similar. Icon is CroMo, Olsa is CroVan, different broaching and the Icon only goes up to 24mm for the 1/2. Also, annoyingly have the upside down stamping, like Snap-on. Olsa and Tekton are very similar. Icon, no. Companies like Olsa and Tekton have a much better warranty. You don’t have to go to a physical location and hope they have your replacement in-stock. You’ll get your replacement in 2-4 biz days. Can’t speek for Olsa, but my Tekton sockets blow away the Icon on finish and utility.
I own some of a lot of different brands, mostly by necessity When it comes to twisting a fastener I am not worried about stampings or such, just getting it done. All of the brands listed here by various individuals are good choices in my opinion. It comes down to what's available. What's convenient and what you can afford. Everything else is just conjecture for debate. Great information. Thanks.
Finally someone who understands the difference between Taiwan and Chinese products.
VIM TOOLS make some of the best socket holders I’ve ever had in the last 30 yrs of me wrenching
TEKTON is best bang for the buck

I just purchased their 1/2 inch sockets and flex head wrenches, so far very pleased with build quality
Thanks for checking out our sockets!
Where’s my sticker? Lol. Put a nice Olsa sticker in with your packaging so we can display on our tool boxes.
@@FloridaBilltI got one in my 1/4" sets I just received this week...

They got those new icon master sets now
Icon (Harbor Freight) sockets are complete, no skip sizes.
Yes Icon has 12-24mm 13pc. The Olsa has a few more up to 10-27mm.
