glad that you mentioned about the gummy hip swivel. i have been waiting for reviews of this figure to find out Mine is the same, gummy. when twisting the hips, its more of just stretching/flexing instead of rotating. u got a new sub
Awesome. Thanks Daz. Great to have you here and on the subs list. I've had a few bits & pieces here & there of late with the Classifieds when it comes to the articulation. It's bothersome, because the line is SO GREAT in the grand scheme of things.
@@MoDXtraGC its so great indeed. im very new to classified, its been only 3 weeks since i got my first classified figure and today im on my 34th figure. I unboxed and played with 15 or so, and low-light is a new low in terms of that hip swivel.
Thanks for the review. Great work. I will definitely pick him up. Looking forward to see more of your videos/reviews. Keep up the great work. Greetings from Europe
Thanks mitrobaroudi 🤘🏼 welcome - really glad to have you here. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment. You are welcome here any time friend 😃
Exquisitely done, as always. As you know, Low Light is one of my all time favorites. I have my complaints about his modernization, but overall I think he looks pretty impressive.
Great shame about the neck articulation being limited as I would like to have displayed mine in a prone sniping position. Coupled with those shoulders and you could be forgiven for getting that Hasbro "that'll do" feeling. I still like the overall aesthetic. Nice one!
Yeah - it strikes me sometimes that they surely must know in instances like this that there are key things we'd be eager to do with our figures. I can only imagine that its a time/cost/ROI thing 💁
Didn't Lowlight's night terrors stem from his dad making him shoot rats in the wrecking yard? I'd be careful posing him next to Trip Wire and his pet rat.
There is one thing you'd think everyone in Gi Joe in a modern setting would have, and that is a GPS device. After all having a wind metre on you isn't great if you get lost. I guess one presumes they have lots of things on them you can't see as it is stored away.
Tucked away in one of those pouches presumably. Although I think the JoePro on the shoulders were intended as such maybe? I kinda missed the concept of those in the early days… 🤷🏼♂️
I've seen other collectors using a silicone oil product on tight joints to loosen them and after seeing that you've been having issues with stiff joints I've placed a order on Amazon for said oil. I figure if this is going to be a on going issue I'll be ready to lubricant the joints.... That sounded naughty 😂😂😂 By the way I've also heard that you can get rid of excess shine on shirts by spraying some matte finish clear spray. It knocks down the shine and drys clear. Enjoy your vacation or Holiday as they say across the pond 👍
Hey Wilfredo! How’s it going man? I’m having a lovely time on holiday - I’m writing this right now in a bar with wifi with my shades on and an unreasonably massive cocktail! 😉 I haven’t used oil much myself, but it has come highly recommended to me too (just gotta get organised and get it ordered!), so I don’t think it could hurt to give it a try man.
Excellent video and review Chris. I checked the buckles on his torso, they were both aligned perfectly. The joints at the knees and waist are still very, very stiff. Still, despite this it’s still a fantastic figure. 25:29
Two reviews in one day CaseyJonesSnr - you're insatiable. Thanks again for watching & commenting. Love this guy - he's been loads of fun to man-child play with. Mine's loosened up over time (with a little help from the hairdryer LOL) :)
I don’t mind right joints, I know they’ll loosen over time. It’s loose joints out of the box that I don’t like. My Low Light has a very soft ab crunch. It’s not floppy, but I’m sure it will get there.
The peg hole should be on the backpack as one would never store the right case between their back and their backpack. Big design flaw. Other than that, I love him!
I'll defer to your experience on that front. I suspect the design team made a practical decision over that for whatever reason. BUT, you're right, overall all he's hella fun.
Thanks btt. There’s been a few folks speculate on the rifle in the comments. I’ll do a bit of a Google and take a look around. Appreciate the help with my absent firearms knowledge friend 😀
Usually go for a bit a bit of hair drying then drop it under some cold water. This time around though it didn't need much work because it had been straight in the case out the packet. :)
I have this figure. I actually have some thoughts on who to buy first, this one or Gung Ho? But since Im short on budget, I think Mr. Gung-Ho can wait, Im taking Lowlight first at a reasonably low price and I must say, I have no regrets
the rifle, it looks like an x/m2010 esr. Just wish they included extra mags for it... Awesome review! More power mate!! oh also its not a phone its a kestrel ballistic calculator. Thanks
I don't recognize the rifle atm, I'm thinking made up, but I'll look into it, but no, definitely not an Mk4 as this one is a bolt action weapon, and it's not an M24 either. I can see the MK14 Socom resemblance though, good guess.
Thanks dmaa - great to see you in the comments again. 😀 I’m so crap at the firearms stuff and you’re always around to help out with my absent knowledge in that department. I’m grateful man 🤘🏼
@@MoDXtraGC hey man, I love your reviews, and I love researching weapons platforms. That's why I love Valaverse weapons, Most of my Joes got Vala weapons, but I'll probably won't switch out Low-Light's, because of the carrying case.
Ha! That’s so funny. I’ll tell you why - when I started doing these reviews I showed my wife my first few vids. Her feedback at the time was “aren’t you embarrassed about your gross fingers?” And I said “nah, nobody will look at my hands” LMAO 🤣
The small gadget is actually a digital Anemometer for measuring wind speed / direction. Essential for a sniper. Great review man.
Awesome. Thanks for the info! Every day is a learning day - appreciate that :)

The fact that the rifle is inside the sniper kit he's ready for the mission 😎
Low-Light is ALWAYS mission ready! He'd be my first call for sure. :)

Thanks Thindale :) It's your first time around here I think - I appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment. Greeting from the UK :)
Your reviews are absolutely top notch!
Thanks Riley. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and then share your kind comments. Great to have you here 🤘🏼😀
His rifle is a legit sculpt, its a macmillan Tac 50. Little phone thing is a wind gauge meter used to measure windage.
Thanks woodanium. Appreciate you taking the time to answer that question I asked in the vid there. You're the best :)
Great review. New to the channel. Looking fwd to more of these reviews

@@MoDXtraGC Not yet. I'm hoping to talk somebody into making one!

Yeah - I get that. Too loose is def worse than too tight. My Serpentor is waaaay loose, it's hella frustrating.

Bro, ive never liked lowlight but this figure looks cool
He's loads of fun. I agree - he looks hella cool! 😎
Great job mate! 10/10 on the review! We’ll have to see how long it takes for Hasbro to make the Mad Marauder version!
Thanks Flaffel! Appreciate that dude. Always great to see you in the comments.
I think a repaint is inevitable really. It’s the Hasbro way! LOL 😂
That Target emblem is an indicator that he an expert marksman
Pretty sure he assumed everyone knew that and was making a joke.
Haha! Yes - I’m just doing a bit of a skit Blakk_Wolf - I’m pretty sure you are right 😉
My Low-Light waist snapped. To dang gummy.
No way! That blows. I feel for you friend, I hate when stuff like that happens. I've had my fair share of dodgy figures in the past, I empathise :(

YES!! Indeed :)
Yep, rifle is defo sci-fi, but, it does bear the most resemblance to the Christiansen Arms Modern Precision Rifle.
