Where is Night Creeper Leader ?

I wish they would do a hooded version using this body with the colors used on the original hooded figure from the early 80s. As for posing figures, I am pretty much the same way. I do not put them in Crazy Dynamic poses. I put them in a posse they would stand in in real life if someone is taking their picture. It also depends on the character too. Cobra Commander and Snakeeyes would have completely different types of poses.

I really hope this buck isn't used for Hit & Run.

Great review! I really like all of the 60th anniversary figures but this might be my favorite. First off, Airborne is one of my overall favorites so the fact that they re-used from that figure is fine by me and secondly, the face paint and just overall look of his camo makes me think of Hit-N-Run, which is one of my favorites from when I was young. I have three total, one MIB and two open, one with the parachute open hanging from a shelf and then the other without the halo jumping gear, ready for ground assault.

It’s rad. I’ll get two because I love the mod/alternate options. Fun stuff! It’s got a great look. I enjoyed the previous soldiers they have done. The Sniper is my favorite thus far. The Diver being second. The Halo and Army soldier are tied. These are enjoyable to take their parts and mix with other Clasdified figures or just swapping looks around for the figure. The parachute is alright. I’m not sure why it couldn’t have been an inch more in diameter. It’s a good cloth. The connections are strong and it does fold up well to fit in the pack.

it is going to be a fun Christmas this year. I'm going to have all my figures posed on the tree. The Halo jumper base jumping Nemesis Enforcer as the tree topper. Maybe the sniper Marine but with the ghillie suit I might forget she was in the tree.

That HALO jumper helmet is pretty sweet. That's how I'm keeping Ripcord on my shelf. Definitely interested in this guy, hopefully Santa can find his way to my house this year with a few of these anniversary figures!

I gave him SGT Slaughter’s swagger stick and took off the helmet and chest holster…. The cut on his waist is tapered like that because the actual jacket has that design. It’s on point. BTW, the eagle on his chest is a US colonel rank, a bit off putting since he’s a Brigader General.

I also agree about Heavy Duty, I like the figure a whole lot, the accessories are a bit much but I get it since that’s part of the character.

Idw comics version mostly. They gonna retro him I bet. But the skin and looking like the older guys from 90's drama like soul food and waiting to exhale always looked like the cartoon version, couldn't tell if he was mixed with Latino or not😂 but it's OK if you can get pass the wide hat🤷🏿‍♂️ I never expect the classified to be like the retro, same name two lines. I like some of the up to date stuff in classified but when the retros drop I get those too but for displaying on the wall. I open all my classified tho. Mostly all the classified is the idw publishing just like the bad reviews on roadpig, just remove the stomach tattoo and he looks like the up to date art of him. Look it up he looks like a bulky bully from high-school football with a gut. But this alpine is more up to date with a bigger little gun, remember that gun that made the figure, yeah in the comic it's bigger now.

Awesome review and well rounded and thoughtful as ever. I passed but can totally understand why so many collectors were excited for this guy. Shame they didn't think out the swords and gripping hands a bit better.

Great review Chris, and I have to agree, there is something just off with this figure. Not sure if the wings needed extra paint apps, or maybe it's the colour palette used for the figure that just clashes, or maybe it's the awful looking sword holsters that just stand out to much, but this figures just doesn't work visually for me.

Great review, Chris. As for me, why would I watch other inferior reviews when yours is on the way? What happened to your time travel effect with your hands? I miss it. Just film one clip then edit into every video. Just a thought

I have to give a huge shout out to my good buddy Ken who managed to grab 2 of these and called me as soon as they arrived ......it's a fun addition to the shelf and I'm happy to have and can now look forward to a couple of future releases to fill out the Cobra La shelf which would have been lacking without this guy great review as always Chris and thanks for the info. I was not aware of his Flash Fandom and had wrongly assumed he was an old school Zeus fan and or worshiper so good form on correcting me in that assumption 😂

The way you pose the wings might make balancing him more difficult. As others have mentioned he's got more forward movement in his ankles once you work them past that armour ridge in the front. Once you get that working I find it helps a lot if you use the butterfly joint in the wings to help pose them forward more to offset the weight on his back. He's tricky to pose but it's possible once you get the hang of it.

Just like metalhead I was super excited for this character. But I'm definitely not a fan of those wings I know it looks like the one in the energon universe but I'm sure somebody is going to have a set of traditional set of wings for him soon

I do love this figure quite a bit! My torso is wobbly too. The swords do fit odd in his hands. The ankle articulation does go further forward. Swivel to the side a bit and the hinge will move past that catch. The wings are an odd ball interpretation other than the big ole gargoyle style from Sunbow. I’m happy with either. More crunch would be nice. I wanted another 1/8-1/4” taller. He does look down on Sarge but I wanted him noticeably taller than Serpentor. I have had lots of fun with this guy. I think some of the shielding wings poses work. Hang him upside down for a creepy winged menace look. I like the armored look for his head which they ran with a bit in the comics I think. I bought two to have more of those minions. I greatly enjoy the cephalopod and the wings are growing on me as a beast separate as well. I wanted flanking cephalopods. Looks great. I made veiny sword holders out of the purple packaging material that came with the figure. The new sword holders allow the swords to store on his back on either side of the backpack. Look cool with the hooks poking out.

I wish I'd seen this before i ordered him.I haven't loved this figure as much as I'd hoped when they first showed him.

He looks okay , greatly detailed but I think he should have been taller a bit thinner and I wish they gave him wings as big as the Neca Gargoyle figures. Maybe if hasbro makes a retro version of him they will address my complaints😊 Lenny mentioned that the second head with the extra Bone on his head grows when he needs extra head protection

The red shadows all got discarded (KIA) in the action force comics or weirdly evolved into "Cobra characters" at the time for me as a kid it felt like how Serpentor and Cobra La sh$t on CC. Except Cobra was super cool, they didn't have to do the Red Shadows dirty for us to be blown away by these articulated new figures with explosive card art.

I grew up in the US, so I have no emotional atachment to the Red Shadows. I really like the way that they look though. I'm glad that Fresh Monkey Fiction is creating something similar. I seriously doubt that Hasbro will ever make a Classified Red Shadows figure.

The small gun is very red shadows I think, except it would be all black, which isn't hard to fix. I don't like the large gun either even though it is well made and sculpted. Red shadows do not go with crimson guards, they really are their own unique looking faction I think.

Red Shadow Walker? I got this one. Love it. I do wish there ports on the appendages to plug hoses into arms and legs, steam punk Borg look. I like it. The figure poses like a dream. So smooth. Can’t wait for Crimson Moon wolf trooper.

I never saw that third head option when I originally was looking at this figure. It's a nice-looking figure but I'm looking forward to order the crimson Moon exterminator

This is the most tempting line, outside of Classified Series for me right now. I'm waiting for the next wave of reveals and hoping it includes the Red Devil figure from the 13 Ghosts faction.

I bought the Crimson Sleep Walker to check out the line. I may pick up another. I did also preorder Crimson Moon guy as I want werewolf soldiers. Added bonus is it fits in with these. Maybe I’ll get a black/red one for variety. I love the monster element and while I want one of those whacked out super wolf action figures from like Loose Collector or something like that, I like the soldier wolf look too. These Sleep Walkers are zombie reanimated corpses to me. I try to play with the posture to make them more monster like. Yeah I think I may grab the black one. Personally the green lasers in with the more green one appeal to me better. I’ll find effects from other figs. They are all painted up red though. Hmmm? Green lasers feel more spooky to me. I did grab a vampire soldier and Forgotten King. Just sampling. Maybe another two in January after I spend loads on Christmas time. I don’t think there are more Monster Force till Q2 next year. I definitely preordered the Frankenstein warrior. More fun to come.

He looks great and I imagine that they would pair up well with the iron grenadiers from classified but I'm not too sold on the head sculpt. I imagine that they look better in hand than on video. Great unboxing and review video as always Chris 👍

If |I had to guess why they slapped 'Tesla-core' (or whatever you want to call such a style) It might be a combination of Doctor Frankenstein's Lab and Ghostbusters.
