Hopefully he decides go with like 27 to 30cc 32cc bot gonna be good for that type racing! Very cool see him getting involved! Maybe next year I'll see about trying it! Be blessed!🙏
First thanks for taking some time and responding brother. But I thought you said “that they have an adapter plate for the throttle/brakes” so I would be able to use a smaller servo.
I don’t really know much about these gas cars. All of my other cars are electric. I’m trying to get into the gas thing, it’s going to take some time to learn how to turn and keep the car running. Which brings me to my next question. What’s better gas or electric?
No problem. My MCD came with the adapter plate for brake/throttle that allows me to use an 1/8 scale servo. I'm not sure about the rovan. I personally prefer gas to electric for the pure smell and sound. Lol. Now I do have a few electrics that I do bash from time to time but my preference is gas.
Every part for mcd and rovan f5 is interchangeable....I swapped out my whole rovan f5 driveline for mcd because the ball bearings are smother and take more abuse. But other than that...nice starter car for sure. Learn how to drive that one before switching to mcd. Lol
First and First thumbs 👍! Better be a gas ⛽️ motor in there!!
😅
Only my son is allowed to bring ewords in my lab😂
Motor Mike looks like he knows his way around a big and small block V8 engine too 👍🏽
Yeah, can't wait to see the car finished and at the track!
@@CrucialRC good luck to both y'all at the next Wagner park race.
I like that rovan crucial it has some potential with the right parts put in. Another great video mate 👌
Thanks brother. Yeah I'm waiting to see it finished and how it lasts.
Yes, many MCD parts also fit the F5. Good video about the differences and similarities between cars 👍 And that body looks great 🙂
Yeah I like the body too. It's different. Thanks for watching bro 🤝🏽
It's the basic model of the MCD xr5 you can make it a MCD

Yeah I agree Jason. I gave him the same suggestion. If he gets it finished he may make one of rhe last couple races this year.
I put a 29cc Rovan on it with some work.
Motor Mike💪🏾💯 I love those 1/5th on road cars. Great paint job! I looking at the MCD Rally. Sitting in my cart now. Waiting for Christmas 🤣
Not sure how I missed this bro. Get that rally!
Nice video brother. Really want to see what it does on the track.
You and me both👍🏽
I have a brand new Rovan F5 roller not even messed with it yet
With a mcd also I can understand.
Get it right Mike🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
You know he will Coach
Been thinking on pulling the trigger on that rovan, and work my way to MCD
Only time will tell for me. I gotta see how it holds up to the 20 min mains. We'll see👍🏽
Awesome stuff brother
Thanks FPV👍🏽
Go with a Zenoah engine. Just a G270 or G270
I agree
Lance tell your boy I got to 36cc motors and gas tanks and pipes I’ll give him for the low
I will let him know bro
Botajell did a build, series on one of these. Check out might be helpful. Cool looking rig.
Yessir. I remember that. I'll take a look. Thanks.
That car could help bring Wagner Park some new racers
Especially if he drives it good.
Those shocks are upgrade Rovan shocks. Ali Express sells them
Gotcha
The Barracuda exhaust will work fine on that car.
Good to know.
This car at this time is looking good. Dec 5
👍🏽
Show carro rovan on road 😃👍🏻
Yessir!
Hey where can I buy the adapter plate for servo? Also would the Mcd body fit on the f5? Thanks
The MCD max is 20mm longer than the rovan. Which adapter plate are you talking about? Steering or throttle?
First thanks for taking some time and responding brother. But I thought you said “that they have an adapter plate for the throttle/brakes” so I would be able to use a smaller servo.

This looks like it will work. www.boneheadrc.co.uk/product/bonehead-rc-upgraded-servo-reducer
