Long Lost Disney Friends are back at the Magic Kingdom for one week only, from July 15-21, 2013. Meet Disney Characters: Chicken Little and Abby Mallard from Chicken Little, Dr. Facilier and Louis from The Princess and the Frog, Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox, and Brer Bear from Song of the South and returning Robin Hood, The Sheriff of Nottingham, Prince John, Friar Tuck from Robin Hood.
Walt Disney World's 2013 promotion is called Limited Time Magic. Limited Time Magic features unexpected experiences with an extra sprinkle of Pixie Dust at Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort that will appear for a "limited time".

If the Long Lost Friends Week shows up on my future Disney trip, I'd love to meet them. And even if Br'er Rabbit ever shows up (which Splash Mountain retires at Magic Kingdom), then it's a must-see so I won't miss it.

I really wish Disney would bring Br'er Rabbit, Br'er Fox, and Br'er Bear back to their Theme Parks (for Meet-and-Greets) again! 😭

none of your characters should fall in the LONG LOST category. You should keep all the characters in the minds of the kids of all generations. those "Long Lost" characters are fantastic compared to the ones today and the kids of today deserve to see them and their movies.
They have definitely been shelved now but the Brers we’re literally never lost? Every time I’ve been to the Magic Kingdom I saw Brer Fox and Brer Bear and even the rarer Brer Rabbit on loads of occasions

Matthew Weikert Unfortunately, it’s a rule that cast members don’t take money from park guests. The only gifts that they can really take are letters, and unboxed goodies like plushies or other merchandise.

The schedule has been on for 20 minutes and off for 10. They begin when the park opens at 9 and go until approx 5pm. Check when you get into the MK on the times guide and/or City Hall.
