Hi Brett, you can control a motor with a PWM (servo) input if you use a motor controller such as an 18V7 simple motor controller. This setup however would not give you positional feedback; if you want feedback so that you can send the gearbox to specific locations you'd need to use a potentiometer in conjunction with a motor controller that has a feedback loop, such as the JRK 12V12. Hi Bhavin, a stepper motor is not directly compatible with the motor mount on the worm drive gearbox. If you retrofit a stepper (or any rotating shaft) to properly align the worm with the worm gear, the gearbox would function properly.
