- The pillars of gender medicine are “built on shaky foundations” the chair of a review into NHS care for children has said, as evidence was found to be severely lacking on the impacts of puberty blockers and hormone treatments.
Dr Hilary Cass said healthcare for people questioning their gender “needs to be improved across the board” but added that there is a distinction between having a trans identity and medically transitioning.
Dr Cass, who chaired the Independent Review of Gender Identity Services for children and young people, said that “many people with gender diverse identities don’t want to go down a medical pathway” but will still be in need of support.
Gay rights and feminist activist Linda Bellos tells Jeremy Kyle that changing gender should be dissuaded.

The club that I belong to had two gay couples. They hated all of the LGBT/Pride stuff. They just wanted to live their lives normally and hated the "Activistism". Being so aggresive and intolerant of other views, these "Activists" are doing their cause more damage than good. She is right.....the trans thing is a fashion...a Social Contagion.

The problem is that when trans kids wait until adulthood to get the pills and shots, they're never able to look as hot as they'd be if they started in with the medicines in nursery school.
I don't know if this was because it was such a short interview, but she didn't really get a chance to speak. I suppose it is such an important issue, and we should be allowed to talk it out, but that can't possibly be done in any way that is helpful in under 8 minutes, especially with all the time it takes for the usual platitudes that are needed these days. In my opinion there should be a distinction in law between biology and gender identity - they are not the same thing. Gender identity is fine, but it should not over-ride biology in situations where biology matters. And yes, there needs to be lots more talk about protecting young children who may be about to make life long changes to their bodies that they are not old enough to understand the consequences of. We also need to understand the influence this kind of talk can have on young girls who are easily influenced to be part of something new and unique.

It is at least 95% a mixture of psychological disorder and fashion. Never underestimate the power of sheep like herd instinct when it comes to fashion. It starts with celebrities especially in the music and film industry.
