S9plus should have been on the latest UI to compare. For the speed test, please do some real world test with apps that people use the most, FB, Instagram, web browsing and UA-cam. I don’t care if a phone is quicker on some random game, phone app, settings etc.
I disagree. Testing original UI to original UI makes sense because you are testing as it came from the factory. Many people backlogged back to the original UI because we hate the childish icons and annoying settings that take up half the screen.

Its desing has a better flow, it just binds together beautifully and the bezels aren't even annoying, they blend with the screen so well, so smoothly. It's the best looking phone ever, even now. Plus, there is no fucking notch or a camera cut out in the screen. Sure, its hardware isn't as advanced but its design is far superior. I wouldn't mind if samsung had kept the same design since then and only upgraded the hardware with each generation, and if the bezel is so bad for them, just eliminate the bottom one.
No, screw the in display fingerprint scanner, the fingerprint scanner being there you grab it in the back is a much better place because you can unlock it coming out of your pocket and it is ready by the time it is at your face. Plus, it had the pressure sensitive home button.
Agreed! Plus there is no interference from your screen protector with the backend fingerprint scanner when trying to unlock the phone. So many people have complained about not being able to utilize the display fingerprint scanner because their screen protector made it unreadable. I hope they change this back to the only tech for future models. I liked Samsung more before they tried to become Apple.
I think removing sd slot is a trick from samsung to start selling storage space for furure phones. That's the main thing that turns me off from the s21 series, i'll rather stick to s9+

Why do the companies stop software updates even though their 3 or 4 years old products are still valid? S9+ is so nice to use still in 2021 and beyond.

typing this on my new S21 Ultra and I must say the S9+ is still a very great phone and Im happy with my S21 Ultra mostly for the slightly large screen but I could have gone 2 more years with it.

Very unprepared review! I recommend that you prepare the devices for the next review. This looks like a test during lunch break with phones from some friends. It’s silly to watch game opening comparisons, and every time the S9 + has some pop-ups. It is clear to everyone that the S21 + is a faster phone, but this way it looks like hiding the real results.
Maybe he did film it on lunch break with Co workers phones lol it's a decent enough review to get his opinion and why across. Constructive criticism is always helpful for improvement tho.
dude you need to take some photos with both these phones. Thats a huge difference in cameras and it needs to be discussed. not sure why people dont address this when reviewing cell phones. Its a no brainer for me since we all use our phones for photos now.
Also Im super pissed about not having an audio jack and sd card slot. I think by all of us accepting this new phone we are saying its ok for them to take this feature away.

Oh what about IRIS SCANNER? Nope removed. Unlocking this phone is like going back to 2016... Total disaster. I don't care what features the phone has, unlocking is the MOST used thing and without fingerprint its a terrible no excuse experience... Tempted to continue using my S9+ even though its cracked, also battery life seems to be basically the same. Scary part is this is "3 years" of upgrades later from the S9.... Yet its a total downgrade in usability. Lets not get started on the camera quality/plastic back etc.... Awful phone, very saddened by samsung
I have been using s9+ since last 3 years and I would say it is still the beast. I am upgrading to s21 due to screen burn, now battery life is poor, and no more software updates in s9+. will miss this beast!!
My s9+ had terrible screen burn-in, battery life sucked, phone was getting extremely laggy doing simple things, screen and back was cracked....just got my s21 5g
I'm using an s9+ right now and u just bought a s21+ today, but I have to wait for it to ship because Verizon didn't have any in stock Edit: for the record, the s9+ was amazing, I believe its sold for around $320 from Samsung so if you arent on a high budget, id say go for it.

S9+ also had the mechanical aperture which was also cool for low light and bright areas
