This video is SO helpful. I’ve been looking for this type of fringe, however everyone leaves it way too long. This is perfect, and it looks beautiful on you. Next time I trim my fringe, I will be using this video💗

Thank you, just cut my bangs! I started them last night and thought I went too short in the middle, but salvaged them after watching your video and just making them a bit thicker, so nice! I find it hard to get them to swoop though even after blow dry, as my hair is so straight.

I cut my bangs just an hour ago like this hoping my curtain bangs will have wavy thing just like the rest of my hair and it resulted to being straight like omg i don't have things to style it up so i search more and i found yours. Well its not exactly like yours my bangs is more thinner and I dont know what to call it anymore. I dont thinks its a curtain bangs maybe more of a wispy bangs with a little face frame and it looks decent enough. I have a hard time trying to cut the side of my bangs just like the side of yours😭 but thank you because i didn't know curtain bangs doesn't always to be sideways♥️

I’m so glad you found it helpful! As for the brush I’m using, I just checked and the only number I could found on it was 43, not sure if it stands for millimeters but it could be. From looking at it it sounds about right

Oh no, I’m sorry to hear that! It happened to me once and what I did was wear them more apart from the center until they grew longer again.

Hi, thanks for sharing this! I’m pretty sure I explained how pulling the hair will make you cut your bangs too short and that you always need to start with longer bangs and slowly trim till desired length. If I remember I’ve also styled mine and then, thinned & trimmed some more. It helps hearing tips from the stylist cause everyone has their prefered technique 💜

I have a fringe but like it covers my forehead, I want to have curtain fringe because it suits me more but i think my fringe is too short, it's just under my eyebrows.. how do I grow it faster?
I know what you mean I’ve recently cut mine a little too short as well and now I can’t wait for those bits to grow out. The best tip I could give is to try and avoid using heat for styling them, other than that all we can do is just wait ☺️

what size (and brand) blow dry brush are you using on your bangs?
unfortunately the brand name has rubbed off by now :( it's just a ceramic coated round brush (they have them on amazon) size 47 I believe that's around 2inch (1.8 more precisely)
I know you already have bangs, & Even though my bangs in 2019, it still grew out, can I still apply this method to my hair???
I think you can if you liked how thick they were you can use the old bangs as a guide for how much hair you grab! Hope this helps & good luck!

I am wondering should I try this or not
If you decide to go for it my no.1 tip would be to start with lighter, thinner sections and cut longer than you'd want them to be, it's much easier to trim them little more if needed than going too short in the first place. Then if you like the look you can add some volume 😊 Good luck!

Did you cut the bangs with the scissors vertically or at a 45 degree angle? From the video, I see you snipping with the scissors vertically sooo just wanting to verify. Thanks ^__^
I use both motions. When I start I usually
cut a guide line, basically I cut little bit longer then I want them to be, and for that I cut with an angle. Always make sure to leave a bit of buffer and leave the hairs a little bit longer at the begging so you don’t make a mistake and cut them too short. Then I point cut until I get desired length (holding the scissors vertically) just so I can soften the edges a bit. But I pretty much repeat that process until I’m happy with the result! I hope I explained well enough ☺️ Let me know if any other questions!

I would love to but I don’t have them anymore and don’t plan to cut them any time soon :) You can start by sectioning a smaller triangle and make them thinner and then gradually add more if you want them thicker. Hope this helps!
