- This is my 2023 enduro Roscoe it has a 60° degree head to angle 160 mm travel it weighs 28.1 pounds and no dropper post this bike was was built for people who have elite endurance

Great videos! I have a 2024 Roscoe 7, but it came with a Rockshox Recon 140. I was gonna swap it out for a fox rhythm 140, but I noticed on a previous video, you swapped your rhythm 140, for a factory 150 but on this video you have a factory 160. Which one did you settle with and how does it ride now that you’re at 160
I might do the same.
Thank you for watching my video.right now My fox factory is at 170mm And to be honest with you, I’m changing the fork out for a fox factory 38. There’s too much flex on the 36 to be at 170mm for my type of riding Rocky downhill. but getting back to your question. I think the rhythm worked just fine.
Sweet build. Enjoy seeing someone building hardtails the way they should come from the factory. Keep being different and killin it on the trails!

I would get my R7 under 13kg.... I have swapped the tyre with Continental Cross King 2.3 745gr x 2, then a Pike 140 mm, DT SWISS XM1700.... Now I'm thinking to swap from Deore to XT/XTR...Will I arrive at 12,99 kgs ? :)

Yeah, I’ve looked into it they’re not compatible with Shimano 12 speed, hyperglide chains with Shimano 12 speeds. It’s slim pickings but race face had one for 12 speed
That's too bad. The oval is the truth. I have the same next sl crankset but with a sram drivetrain. I've done about 3 thousand miles and a bunch of kom's with a 34t oval and never had an issues with the chain coming off@@hardtailrider7172

They are titanium bolts by better bolts

@hardtailrider7172 wasn't it like 25.xx pounds in an earlier video? And I love my roscoe 8. Been to northstar a couple times on it, and I have the new rockshox lyrik ultimate and oneup bars on the way.
@@Channel-io1di yeah it was 25 pounds in another video before, but added more hard, core components can sometimes add weight I guess for better or worse. It’s great that you’re upgrading your Roscoe 8 they really are great bikes

yeah he may have endurance but I guarantee you he would be faster with a dropper.
it's not an endurance thing why you use a dropper. Its more efficient to be an an optimal stable pedaling position and not bobbing up and down standing up while pedaling.
You can get the same efficiency with out a dropper
Spend the money $.$$ have the fun. 🫡
