I keep coming back to watch this documentary and listening to Carol DaRonch tell her story of how she escaped. She was so heroic, bold and courageous! I really think she should have been given some national award for bravery and I would be very shocked if she hasn't received something for her efforts, not just in surviving an attack from Bundy, but also fighting him off and getting help from the passing motorist and helping law enforcement by identifying him in a line up and testifying on the stand. She really is a hero to me.

He was extremely smart , probably high IQ , he won’t accept defeat . The fact is mostly of these serial killers actually play with the authorities and want them to try to catch them by leaving clues behind etc … they’re so full of themselves and their “abilities” that being arrested and condemned is like an almost impossible option on their minds . And let’s be honest , probably right now there are several serial killers who did way worse than Bundy and others running free and the authorities don’t even know they exist or have linked their crimes (like crimes commited with large intervals and between distinct places ) specially in third world countries where there is no investigation and forensic analysis like in the USA and other rich countries . Here in my country there is a monster who have killed over 100 children back from the 70s to the 90s, he was eventually caught but the authorities didn’t know he committed so many crimes , he actually confessed and told where the bodies could be found .

I was 8, in 1974, and I was also 12 years old and living in Florida, when that crazy kidnapped, raped, murdered, and mutilated 12 year old Kimberly Leach. His crime spree, and escape was on the news when he killed those sorority ladies. The news reporters advise us to be vigilant. Also, our school principal had a lecture, in the schools auditorium.😢😢😢

It wasn’t just that Bundy killed all these women which in itself is an abomination to these women and their families , but it is also what this evil, evil scumbag did to these women after they were dead. Anybody who has a slight attraction or fascination with this devil, need to look deeper into his heinous acts.

What he did to Kathy Parks is a good example of how evil he was. After he got her,he made her undress and then violently raped her, breaking her neck in the process. Then he threw her in the back of the car and drove with her for five or six hours to the mountains .She was still alive and conscious even though her neck was broken.. Then he raped her again and killed her. And smashed her🎉 face in. I can't imagine what that ride was like for her and how terrified she must have been.

During Theodore Robert Bundy’s trial in 1979 in Florida, John Arthur Spenkelink would be the first to face Florida’s electric chair since the death penalty was reinstated. During Ted Bundy’s stay on death row where he lived on borrowed time for 9.3 years these are the prisoner who went to Florida’s electric chair before it would be Bundy’s turn whom were Robert Austin Sullivan in 1983, Anthony Antone, Arthur Frederick Goode III, James Adams, Carl Elson Shriner, David Leroy Washington, Ernest John Dobbert Jr., James Dupree Henry, and Timothy Charles Palmes in 1984, James David Raulerson, Johnny Paul Witt, and Marvin Francois in 1985, Daniel Morris Thomas, David Livingston Funchess, and Ronald John Michael Straight in 1986, Beauford James White, in 1987, Willie Jasper Darden and Jeffrey Joseph Daugherty in 1988, after Jeffrey Joseph Daugherty was executed in Florida’s electric chair, it would be Theodore Robert Bundy’s turn to have a date with Florida’s Old Sparky.

Utah police saved a lot of lives by believing Carol DeRonch. I've always felt like Bundy should have never gotten to Utah in the first place. Seattle police had more than enough leads to at least question him and check credit card statements on key days. Like Colorado police learned, all you had to do was speak to him to know something wasn't right. They've always acted like they "had nothing" but his own GF had turned him in 3 times. He drove a light-colored VW bug. His own GF recognized him from the composite sketch. And three other people had dialed in his name, too. No, they couldn't have arrested him, but just by looking exactly like the composite sketch, that should have been enough to have a talk with him, check credit card statements, tail him, and possibly get a search warrant. If they'd listened to Liz, he said later that he had pictures of the dead women in his apartment in Seattle. They had their man but didn't bother questioning him.
Seattle learned nothing from that experience. They ignored the Green River Killer's only living witness, too, and failed to follow up and tail him long enough. In cases like this, believe women. If your hunch turns out to be wrong, no problem. If it isn't, you could save dozens if not hundreds of lives.

That was never wise of Bundy to represent himself because grandfather told me there’s this saying “a person who acts as their own lawyer has a fool for a client.” Like the narrator said that Bundy did to satisfy his narcissistic need to be center staged and that of course sealed his fate at his trial in Florida and his ego pretty much threw the wrench into his chances of avoiding Florida’s electric chair.

Of course, during his stay on Florida's death row, Theodore Robert Bundy was not the most hated inmate, that status went to Florida death row inmate, Arthur Frederick Goode III and of course I read that Arthur Frederick Goode III stole some cookies from Theodore Robert Bundy. Of course on April 5th, 1984, Arthur Frederick Goode III was executed in Florida's electric chair at the age of 30.

Of all the serial killers i have read about, over the years, Ted Bundy, is the most fascinating to me. The interview he did with Dr Dobson, on the eve of his execution is chilling, but also, a great study case. His manipulation was on show for all to see. The way he looks with his head bowed, you can actually see the pure evil that lies within, his predatory look chills me to the bone. May all his victims, rest in peace, and their families, try and move on.

He could have taken the plea deal and spent life in prison; instead he wanted to play lawyer, get attention during the trial and relive his crimes. At the end he was literally begging for just even 90 more days of life...he got a small taste of the terror he put those women and girls through, well Karma always gets you eventually

his mask of sanity; he wanted one life, but he had to have another, how could he be so many different things to so many different people?, and be quite convincing at it. It's sort of like what Kemper said, "if someone abandons himself to being a victim, he's gonna have to be one". Don't trust strangers. Perfect example, the incidents at L. Sammamish Park.

always woundered if he targeted prostitutes at diffrent times over the years when his normal M.O wasnt avalible. know ted was rare in the fact he looked to charm woman into going off with him mostly, a risky endevor for someone like him, and it must have been an important part of the process, not just a case of finding an easy target as a means to an ends like the green river killer. but it dosent mean he didnt ever for go this part and target working girls to tide him over some times. find it hard to beleave that he wouldnt have some times. wounder if theres cold cases of murdered steet worker woman with the right look who were killed in similare ways to how ted did things in areas at same time he was there. dont think he would have ever admitted to it being an arogent gandiouse narc psyco he wouldnt have liked that being in his image in a very weird screwed up way.
