true, but you get more power with an impact wrench. But for your average DIYer just having an impact driver with the right attachments is good enough

To ALL u tough guys.... I bought my Milwaukee M12 1/2" drive with detent from Ohio Power. The ball detent is too far out and I also need to use a pick to remove the socket. And yes I've tried oiling it and working the detent over and over to try and break it in. So, stop to thinking y'all know everything just because yours works as designed. And I also have m12 batteries that don't release. And no I don't have little girly hands.

Get a 1/2 impact wrench if you’re a diy’er. You can get adapters to use impact driver bits with it and they work just fine. It’s much better than having to buy both tools.

I've had battery drills since the late 80s.The Milwaukee may be alright for home use but in a work area they can't take it. The clutches are weak and the drill is heavy. Makita or Snap on are the best I've used and I have tried them all.

tek gun or zip gun in the mechanical industry, perfect for a lot of applications where you need to run something in fast and a lot, or run screws in at a very low torque but quickly.
Whereas a rattle gun is for bigger shit, that actually holds things in place or together.
I’d use a tek gun for body panels and small bolts/nuts up to 8mm thread. Or If I’m running a screw or bolt into a plastic or rubber part
Rattle gun for anything 10mm thread and up. And if the rattlegun can’t do it, go up until the 1” can’t do it, then the hydraulic tension tool comes out, after that there’s only two options, get a slogging spanner and 10lb sledge, or oxy

I have two kobalt impacts ,2 DeWalt, 2 Bosch freaks, 2 Makita, and two Milwaukee. They Makita are the best, and along with the Bosch, they handle the Mississippi heat the best . Then Milwaukee but the collet lock gives you headaches, DeWalt battery does not like the heat on the roof. The kobalt drives the most screws, but take the longest to charge. The only company I stray away from is Ridgid. Their customer service and honoring their warranty is BS. They even hung up on the store manager at the Madison Ms home Depot....I laughed because I told him Ridgid customer service sucked and he looked at me ,with a surprise and couldn't believe they hung up on him.
