I just watched a lovely film showing how profoundly we need beavers. During terrible drout, the only areas that remained lush with pond waters were areas beavers had engineered and regulated. Part of our desolate areas happened after beavers were depleted.
They also mate for life, take 2 years to raise their young to prepare them for a lifetime of advanced engineering skills. They love to play and nurture one another when not working hard. In winter, they oft show hospitality and shelter many other animals. They are wonderful and highly underrated.
I just watched the same video. Interesting little rodents aren’t they?😂
@Harold Jenkins do watch a video named partnering with beaver...they are really important for our ecosystem
@Harold Jenkins If there is no dam, the water simply flows into the ocean. If there is a damn, the velocity of water is greatly reduced, therefore evaporation, habitat for animals, more even flow and other things that would not be quite as effective without damns.
By the way, the only thing bad for ecosystem are 8 000 000 000 humans. The rest is natural. Not good, not bad. Natural.
Yes and they are considered pests in some places 😭
@@madelynhernandez7453 They usually only become pests due to a lack of predators. Wolves, Bears, Puma etc have beavers as staple parts of their diet. Once those predators are driven out then the prey become pests.
The first little one when its tail flips up, is the cutest thing ever.
reminds me of baby elephants who cant control their trunks yet
Lol it’s like he doesn’t quite know how to balance with it yet 🙈🥹😂
Ents
I agree! Dare I say it's so flippin' cute lol
The first one is way too cute for this world
The line on his tail bugs me out a bit
Are you implying that our world has a limit for how cute someone can be and if they go above the limit we throw them our or something?
@@OriginalPuro, find that out🤡🤡🤡
Beavers are freaking geniuses. Critical animals to our ecosystem in North America.
and a pest bigger than us in south america
Man I wish I could eat wood like them but there's the type of teeth problem
@@christiankruse4571 I bet you would like to eat a lot of wood...
Beavers are inportant animal for ecosystem, without beavers = unbalanced in ecosystem.

Trees can be so insensitive.
That’s was so cute when the first baby beaver was getting smacked by his own tail
At first, I was saying "Awwwww", and then when his own tail popped up, I cracked up! LOL
Beavers are America's expert dam builders. Years ago, when I was walking in the woods, I came across a beaver house literally under construction in the middle of a large pond. One of the beavers squeaked to me, saying, "You can watch, but please keep your distance." I LOVE BEAVERS!!!😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
Me too !!!.
My Friend the Beaver is Canadian, not american.
@@Flammiedrum I think he meant 'North' American.
Yes the beaver is an animal associated with Canada, but I beleive some beavers have habitats in some areas of the USA as well...
@@atteranenforcer5263 I live in Michigan and we have plenty of beavers! They're a protected species here and are on the rebound population wise. So yes the USA does indeed have beavers.
@@NoTengoDinero69 I think he still has a point as America loves to display the Bald Eagle so I thinks It's fair us Canadians take credit for the Beaver.
Anyone who dislikes this video has a hole in their soul.
Baby beavers are the sweetest, cutest little guys ever!💕
Yes but they don't eat timber! 😊
They're the cutest little things in the whole world.
I just want to kiss them😘💜🙂
*Car alarm noise*
Right up there with baby platypus 😍
Dunno, I'd go with baby Otters, Sloths and Red Pandas.
they look like koalas
They look so peaceful.
they know their place in the world and roll with it
Most generally they are a very peaceful animal , till they eat the hoses off your bulldozer .
I don't know how to mentally process this much cuteness.
Imagine holding one of these guys.
Short legs, long body, loves food, and adorable? Makes me think one thing...
*Beavers = water corgis*
Yes
Nah, Beavers does have a long tail Corgis not.
@@Johnnii360 Corgis have tails actually. Cardigans always have tails while Pemmies can be born with natural docks (no tail) or a full tail. If born with a full tail, breeders can then choose to dock the tails or leave them intact. :)
0:05 "Omg my tail is alive. Please go back down, so I can enjoy my snack." Cutest thing ever, this little beaver!
2:38 made me sad. Why is there a little beaver on the street?
EXACTLY!
@Seamus O'Dork How lonely are you?
@Seamus O'Dork I, also, was concerned about a baby beaver on a street. How the fuck is being concerned about a baby animal "virtue signalling"?
Do you know what type of people usually use the term "virtue signalling"? The type with no empathy whatsoever, so they cannot even _imagine_ that other people genuinely care, therefore they assume that it must be some sort of pretend caring, and give it a dopey term.
Tl dr: you appear to be a sad, basic, twat.
@Trey Stephens ooh
pineapplepenumbra Perfectly said!
I've come to a conclusion, beavers. r. CUTE!
Was someone helping the baby on the sidewalk?
I'd like to know as well. It looked scared,...😥
Don't think so. They didn't help it when it fell off their leg.
Yeah what was going on there? I'm concerned. Did they just snatch the baby from somewhere?
Right... Like the worst... It was like help I'm stuck in the city somehow! Please get me home! And that heartless little turd was like "ploof" ok... Bye. I'm oblivious.
skeena59 he dumped it off his leg after blocking its way! 🤬
Oh!!!! When it's tail flicked up and smacked him on the nose! 😂💖💕
Baby beavers are just too cute. They look like mini pocket beavers when they're still just young babies.
The cutest little thing ever, GOD bless the one's caring for it.
I hope someone helped that baby crawling up the girls leg!
The child boy/girl dumped the beaver off her leg after blocking its way.
@@ekdaufin1485 Ugh!😔
Yup, somebody did.
Beavers are inportant animal for ecosystem and without beavers = unbalanced in ecosystem.
ITS SOO FWUFFY IM GONNA DYE
piggypowerplayz your hair?
i have hair
WHAT
IT'S SO FLUFFY!!!!
Its Die not Dye XD
Boże... Jakie to są przecudne, słodkie stworzenia! Nie miałam o tym wcześniej pojęcia :)
The one clip when the child dumps the lost baby beaver on the concrete wasn't cute..... maybe that's what caused the dislikes
And if you had a wild animal crawling up your leg?
@@brigidtheirish
A beaver is not a toy or a pet - not meant to be "handled" by a child. These beavers belong at a rescue center with adult human beings that are trained in caring for them - properly.
@@lena-mariag.louis-charles3579 You don't know the context or even where that video was taken.
@@brigidtheirish
Your ignorance and assuming attitude speaks volumes...
@@lena-mariag.louis-charles3579 Our ignorance of the context is kinda the point. And *who's* assuming?
Edit: Rewatched the video. The clip with the beaver climbing up the child's leg starts at about 2:38. A couple things:
First: The child does not "dump" the beaver onto the concrete. The child doesn't even *touch* the beaver once it starts showing interest in his leg. The beaver looses its grip and falls off all on its own.
Second: The traffic noises make me think this may be a public sidewalk. Perhaps there's a beaver pond nearby and this little one wandered off. Maybe something happened to the parents. Maybe the person taking the video called animal rescue and is recording video while waiting for them to arrive. *We don't know.*
Ok whats with the beaver on the sidewalk???
Deluxo exactly what i thought.
Filler
I'm saying though! I am glad I am not the only one that peeped that!!
It looked lost and scared - I hope it’s okay :’(
That's sad! What is the little baby doing on the city streets!
Прекрасные создания ❤так и хочется зацеловать этих пушистиков
These beavers are definitely adorable. I'm sure I'll search for more. If anyone else finds large rodents cute, you might enjoy the UA-cam channel Chunk The Groundhog. A family of groundhogs lives under a gardner's shed, and he keeps them in produce. Lots of munching right into the camera.
can't believe people use to kill these for fur and made hats out of them
@Donald Piniach No there were a lot other animal fur and pelt people can used to make a hate to cover there head during winter. Beavers were hunted purely as a luxury item for the rich and powerful back in Europe. People killed other people for the rights to hunt these beautiful animals back in the old days. Look up The French and Iroquois Wars.
Also i'm not the one who is using contemporary culture to vilifying the early settlers. The native american been doing it for a long time. The Native American hunted Beavers for food and some even worship them as a secret animal. The early settlers killed these majestic animals out of greed not for survival.
@Donald Piniach Its not narcissistic Nonsense when you about to exterminate whole species like the Beavers, Buffalo, whales, American pigeon, etc. for profits. You are allow to trade fur but not to the extend to where you denied the whole next generation the chance to see and learn about these species.
@Donald Piniach are you serious the indigenous people did killed Buffalo for everything that was their lifestyle. They coexist with them for thousands of years until the settler came and end their practice by killing the buffalo to the brink of extinction. The native american and the Chinese Taoism been preaching about harmony with nature for thousands of years. The West during the colonial era dismissed these thoughts as rubbish non sense. Only recently they became relevant again.
they also use their glands for perfume.......
IKR!! Everything is always overdone, causing mayhem, death and destruction. That said, likely the popularity of beaver fur is the waterproof quality, sadly a lot of people want that for themselves and couldn't just appreciate the beauty of the fur on the live, adorable, industrious beaver.
omg made me burst out loud laughing when his paddle popped up in his face toooo funnny
i just want to hug these guys
they are so cute
Holy Canadian Cuteness Overload, Batman
i would like to describe them as innocent, polite beings
As an Oregonian, our flag literally has a beaver on it, I love this video. Look at those little guys.
What a precious little baby sooo cute. Thanks for caring for them💜
They are so cuddly and cute!!
Doing some schoolwork and watching these cute little animals!
I'm in love!!!!!
I'm a beaver lover too her names justine 👍🏴
I thought it was an urban legend that beavers eat wood.
Yes and no. They mostly eat the layer directly under the bark, that transports a trees water.
@jack daniels Its actually called "Xylem" if you want to be technical ;)
@@Daniel-rd6st its still a fucking tree so it doesnt matter smart ass
@@Daniel-rd6st that doesn't change the fact that the answer is yes, you said "yes & no" because they don't eat bark, but OP said wood, which bark isn't in the first place.
It's okay to make a mistake.
Absolutely adorable
So cute!
No annoying, manipulative music! Thank you!
I guess you could say that he likes a chip off the old block.
Why was that baby beaver on the street and that kid allowed to approach it that way?!?!
Will someone please turn down the cuteness level on this video before I completely melt.
To cute
So cute
I typed in the search engine "Beavers eating wood" and somehow I got this video. It's still a good watch though.
I see the Ents have been down voting the vid. "Many of these trees were my friends"
These sweet, beautiful, and intelligent creatures must be protected at all costs! Love this ❤️
It a lovely animal but we must to keep it in the wild not someone home.
해달이랑 얼굴 많이 닮았다 손쓰는거 너무 귀엽네♥♥
How cute when he lost his balance in the pool.
Happens to me too.😊
🤗
its now official, beavers have taken over dogs and cats on the famous cuteness scale, studies have also shown that i am correct in that statement.
I could see beavers eventually evolving into the dominant species on the planet if humans were not already occupying that niche. Maybe someday they will. They are more "Human" in many ways than chimpanzee imo.
This is an incredibly patriotic video for us Canadians.
Everyone's fighting over the election and here i am watching beavers
We need them in Midland michigan because michigan government can't fix our Damns. I bet a thousand beavers could do a better job than our governer stretching Gretchen.
Спасибо вам так увлекательно!!!!! Какие они тружаники!!!!! Мастера!!!!! От природы!!!! Строить такие платины!!!! Какие они хорошенькие!!!!
Why are they so dang cute? Even adult beaver's are cute they are just bigger version of their younger selves. They are aggressive with their homes and family too so don't try to get closer to them in the wild. They bite and imagine if they can chew down a big tree what they can do to you. They also are very muscular and strong.
It is so cute I just want to die
I have concluded the eradication of beavers is responsible for the majority of problems faced by Europe and North America.
Oh wow you guys are doing such an amazing job, it’s so adorable and it’s definitely so important to our earth big thumbs up 👍🏻💫🌟💫💕💜💕
Spifey cute
Omg so cute!!!!
What a cutie- he’s like a real life toy 🧸
la nature est magnifique;j'espère que les gens sont conscient de ceux qu'on a!
I wood name it bevis
How can you dislike this video?
Stop with this newfound rescue shit. It wont have a chance at survival in the wild now. If its parents died then it dies too its nature and natural selection. Stop the insanity
man baby beavers really are so fucking cute
CUTENESS OVERLOAD is a WONDERFUL stress reliever!!!
He should be in the wild learning what beavers need to learn and being a beaver. He’s probably missing out on vital information he needs for his survival as a beaver. He is part of nature for a reason. I felt absolutely sorry for him walking around on concrete
I agree
Fortunately according to the article I've found he was returned to the wild shortly after that.

Click bait, nothing ate any timber.
