I'm so glad to have a continuation on the Menagerie, esp with little references to the last video like the luster of the viewers eyebrows and name drops of the dragon types. I loved that occasionally the camera angle changed from the customer POV to the dragon's POV, complete with slightly louder notices and adorable squeaks from the hatchling. A+ asmr work! The star of the show is truly the rock, the second it was pulled out I went from calm asmr mode to laughing hysterically. The fact that Maybell speaks reassuringly to it, content that it's still just a rock but a rock she's going to look after regardless, is a clear example of how caring yet strange she is as a person
I’m starting to think that Maybell actual is quite organized and does know where everything is supposed to be, but her pet keeps mov big things around.

That is actually a positive aspect in my opinion. It feels like an eternaly ongoing movie/story since I always forget the last 2-5 minutes before I fall asleep.
Whenever I feel a bit sad or have a particularly stressful day, I always come back to Maybell. I STILL laugh every time she says, "I'm trying my best!" and I must have watched this video almost 20 times by now. She's so pure and positive and knowledgeable, how can you possibly have a bad time hanging out with this friend and learning how to best care for your new dragon hatchling?
Are we glossing over the fact that a clod toad yells it’s name like a Pokémon does? (I sat here for five minutes trying to come up with a Pokémon/mittens pun, but I can’t cause I’m to busy thinking about maybell taking care of a nursery full of Pokémon)
After watching all of these different fantasy themed videos, I decided to include some of the characters as people in a Dungeons & Dragons campaign I'm running. And my players LOVED them! I think Maybell and Nightshade are their favorites. It's always so amazing to see how these characters come to life, and it makes me happy that I can bring them to other people through my game. Thank you so much for making these videos. They're always soothing, creative, comforting, well-made, and immensely entertaining. P.S. Just so you know, in my campaign, Maybell is actually a gnome, who stands behind her counter on a step stool. I hope that's okay!

I'm so glad to have a continuation on the Menagerie, esp with little references to the last video like the luster of the viewers eyebrows and name drops of the dragon types. I loved that occasionally the camera angle changed from the customer POV to the dragon's POV, complete with slightly louder notices and adorable squeaks from the hatchling. A+ asmr work!
The star of the show is truly the rock, the second it was pulled out I went from calm asmr mode to laughing hysterically. The fact that Maybell speaks reassuringly to it, content that it's still just a rock but a rock she's going to look after regardless, is a clear example of how caring yet strange she is as a person

That is actually a positive aspect in my opinion. It feels like an eternaly ongoing movie/story since I always forget the last 2-5 minutes before I fall asleep.

Whenever I feel a bit sad or have a particularly stressful day, I always come back to Maybell. I STILL laugh every time she says, "I'm trying my best!" and I must have watched this video almost 20 times by now. She's so pure and positive and knowledgeable, how can you possibly have a bad time hanging out with this friend and learning how to best care for your new dragon hatchling?

After watching all of these different fantasy themed videos, I decided to include some of the characters as people in a Dungeons & Dragons campaign I'm running. And my players LOVED them! I think Maybell and Nightshade are their favorites. It's always so amazing to see how these characters come to life, and it makes me happy that I can bring them to other people through my game. Thank you so much for making these videos. They're always soothing, creative, comforting, well-made, and immensely entertaining.
P.S. Just so you know, in my campaign, Maybell is actually a gnome, who stands behind her counter on a step stool. I hope that's okay!
