I like the salty, yet aristocratically polite manor of this character. It speaks of a woman who is stressed out, but she's struggling to make sure you don't know it.

I like to imagine that the captain and the willow witch were dating when they were a bit younger. They had tea together, had deep discussions, went on walks to gather ingridients in the forest, the captain helped make some potions and learned some of Willow's magic while they were together. Eventually the captain came to the conclusion that she belonged on the sea as she sought adventure. Willow was not interested in that life so they broke apart but stayed very good friends who still exchange letters often :)
Babblebrook has to be one of the most well produced series on UA-cam. So much attention to detail and planning. It's also one of the most beautiful series of ASMR videos out there. I don't know how you do it but thank you. I love these.

Ok I see people getting this wrong a lot. Our mission isn't to kill the queen, it's to gather information to relay to Nightshade. Sheesh, it's as if no one is paying extremely close attention to the detailed lore of this ASMR universe. *eye roll* (The last sentence is sarcastic)
It is weird that enough people stayed awake through Nightshade's plot long enough to gather that we were going to Lancaster to meet the Queen, when at the same time that's when she reveals we're just gathering information. Where did people get "assassinate the Queen" from?
The thing that makes these videos so perfect imo is how SAFE everything is. there aren't a lot of challenges, it's a world where you just kinda drift along doing whatever you want and people are generally helpful and kind, and it's honestly relaxing on a spiritual level.
oh, i never could pinpoint why erin's babblebrook tales just seem to be so very much more soothing, and indescribably so, to enjoy, despite there being many other fantasy asmr series out there, and you've just gotten it perfectly.

However after seeing everyone's comments I started watching through all your back catalogue; Valley Girl was an unexpected surprise, and I can now see why everyone is so invested in Babblebrook. The pains you take over your craft are magnificent and very much appreciated. Anyway, while I might have said in the past "more 20s videos please," I don't think you can do any wrong, even your show and tell tapping videos are wonderful, so don't stress if you don't have the energy for the more involved videos (even though they're sublime). I have been struggling with my anxiety and depression, and your videos have brought me some comfort ❤

Ok I see people getting this wrong a lot. Our mission isn't to kill the queen, it's to gather information to relay to Nightshade. Sheesh, it's as if no one is paying extremely close attention to the detailed lore of this ASMR universe. *eye roll*

It is weird that enough people stayed awake through Nightshade's plot long enough to gather that we were going to Lancaster to meet the Queen, when at the same time that's when she reveals we're just gathering information.

The thing that makes these videos so perfect imo is how SAFE everything is. there aren't a lot of challenges, it's a world where you just kinda drift along doing whatever you want and people are generally helpful and kind, and it's honestly relaxing on a spiritual level.

I first found you because of the 20s videos which I adore. However after seeing everyone's comments I started watching through all your back catalogue; Valley Girl was an unexpected surprise, and I can now see why everyone is so invested in Babblebrook. The pains you take over your craft are magnificent and very much appreciated. Anyway, while I might have said in the past "more 20s videos please," I don't think you can do any wrong, even your show and tell tapping videos are wonderful, so don't stress if you don't have the energy for the more involved videos (even though they're sublime). I have been struggling with my anxiety and depression, and your videos have brought me some comfort ❤
I just realized how poetic the siren protection was, each line as graceful as the moonlit waves themselves.
