She was and is so beautiful. She was one of my first crushes, along with Caroline Munro (perhaps my favourite), Diana Rigg, Jacqueline Bissett, Jane Seymour, Jenny Hanley, Yutte Steensgaard, Imogen Hassell, Julie Ege, Britt Eckland, Judy and Sally Geeson, Alexandra Bastedo, Veronica Carlson, Madeline Smith, Susan Denberg, Lesley-Anne Down, Ingrid Pitt, Nastassja Kinski, Kate o'Mara, Barbara Shelley, Joanna Lumley and Mary Ure. The 60s, 70s and 80s in particular seemed to breed these stunning ladies who filled our screens (in every sense of the word) The films and series from that era cannot be surpassed in my opinion, especially the atmosphere of so many of our British Hammer. Amicus and Tigon films. Glorious days that this 61 year old iBrit s so appreciative of.
She is still strikingly good looking (also Caroline Munro). Saw them a few months ago at a Talking Pictures TV convention

Beautiful video - the scenes of London in particular, are a snapshot of world that has been lost forever. The Carry On films are like historical documents now...Valerie was a stunning young woman, in a time when people had no problems defining what a woman was. Many thanks again Mark.
