My dear friend, it’s two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun. OK just wanted to clarify it for you. I remember that commercial very well and I love watching your shows.🌹😇💝🤣🌹
The seasoning only dries out the meat if it has salt in it. I personally like to premix my seasonings into my meat and let them rest for an hour before cooking. Salt as they go on the grill.
Excellent way to flavor your burgers. That’s definitely a Rad Dad winner. I’m fond of adding some very finely diced onion into the mix for the flavor and moisture it gives. Slurpalishes!
Back in the early 1970's, two college friends and I walked up to the local McDonald's counter and sang (very badly) that jingle as a three-part round. The manager actually volunteered three Big Macs, fries and drinks for free! We did NOT expect that but we became instant fans and frequent customers. I remember those lyrics to this day!
Almost any burger is better than a McDonalds' Big Mac. A Burger King Whopper and a Jack In The Box Jumbo Jack are better than a Big Mac. But if this beats out an In-N-Out Double Double, which is a top notch burger, this will be a great match! Something tells me this one will be a match to an In-N-Out Double Double! 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
Cowboy Kent, you got it in the wrong order. The McDonald’s jingle goes “Two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun.”
He's right. Seasoning, mostly the salt, will pull moister out of the meat and pool on the surface which means it makes it harder to get a crust whichmeans you leave it in longer and dry the meat.
I'm with ya brother I rub down anything 25 minutes before it's time to smoke or grill your right anything you buy in the grocery store ain't as good it dries the insides
"Lettuce, cheese, pickles" 😉 When i was a kid, meeting *the* Ronald Mcdonald was one of the best moments of my childhood. 😊 The other was meeting Snoopy and the Red Baron at the local airport... My parents took me out of school for it (which they never did) so i thought something was wrong until we got there. 😂 My wife's uncle was the original "Bozo the clown" out of the Chicago/Milwaukee area. Those were much simpler but easily enjoyable times. Today's kids are jaded. 😊
how does he feel about seasoning the grinds before pattying them? i typically will season the whole pack of grinds then take the seasoned beef and put it in my patty press.
Standing there, in the heat, to entertain and educate, takes a special person, thank you for being you.
An American icon, you are! God bless you and Shannon!

Thats been my preferred way to get the flavor all the way through. Along with an egg or two depending on the portion.
I swear to God this is why I love living in America. Great burgers and a cowboy who can get down and dance

@@bettykellogg8922 The "singing" was truly horrible but the experience and the Big Mac were memorable!
You meant to say "2 all beef pattys, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles onions on a sesame seed bun."

Love watching you! In today's world, we need more of you!
Back in the day if you sang that jingle they would give you a Big Mac 😂
Yes. I see you. Get on down then. LOL.
You taught me more about cast iron than my mom, thanks.
besides your cooking skills, you have very special dancing skills.
Right?!? I just keep replaying for the dance sequence 😂

You are the best! My boys and I love your videos. We are not cooks or dancers as you are but we try our best.
I admire this man.
I’d like to see him on the dance floor with his moves! 😂

I've had pancakes that aren't that big!
I prefer the Big Mick, 2 all beef patties, special sauce lettuce cheese pickles onions on a sourdough bun!
The dance is what made me give you the thumbs up 👍😂😂😂😂
This guy is like that one uncle that's cool AF 👍👍👍👍👍
I always wondered what you did after your acting life: you’re out here making delicious burgers. More power to you Gene Heckman.
"Lettuce, cheese, pickles" 😉

I was certainly hoping that you would do the finished product on the burger. I just couldn’t wait to see what you done.
you can use extra lean and just get it juicy by mixing in some bacon grease and for flavor
🤣🤣🤣🕺🕺 I’m so glad I subscribed
I didn't realize you were in Oklahoma! I was born and raised here lol
how does he feel about seasoning the grinds before pattying them? i typically will season the whole pack of grinds then take the seasoned beef and put it in my patty press.
