I'm a big fan of guns, knives and gear in OD green and Flat Dark Earth. For decades everything was "black" and that was it. Somebody finally woke up and discovered "black" is one of the easiest colors to pick up in a background. It's not camouflage at all and doesn't blend in.
Really Nice Job Elvis, I wish you would have compared it to the previous Svbony you had, and maybe talked about the differences in clarity or how much better this one is. Just some food for thought. I am thinking I am going to order this one. I hope its worth the difference over the cheaper one, I'm guessing it is. Thanks for all you do, for us average guy reloaders to keep improving and learning. :)
I had it with me at times.. side by side. Wider field of view, brighter, more color, a little more detail, the construction seems completely different with all upgrades of material.. but man I can’t complain about the other one.. with the sv46 I think it’s the best I’d ever try to pay money for. Vs the high dollar stuff,
Can you see bullet trace? They also make this scope with ED glass SV46P, that I was thinking of buying. I'm not sure you can replace the eyepiece on yours. They make the SV406 and SV406P which I think the only difference is a replaceable eyepiece or it's a more common size and interchanges with other brands. Thanks for the video. Buying a scope is tough, not being able to look through and compare. Your comment of being able to see a 22 hole at 300 yards is useable info.
I would have liked to see more shots of the view. Particularly some noting zoom number and range to the target. I have a Barska that is complete garbage past 100 yards with max zoom. So much abberation and distortion... completely useless at 300 yards.
@@jeremyd2003 Save up for at least the Ares UHD or best yet the Cronus G2 UHD. The Argos isn't clear on high magnification it's like looking through fog.
Very Nice optic, Tried to find your email but I have a question about powder coat flat orange and green not sticking to lead bullets I casted, but gloss red and purple static stick perfect. These are hi end powders too. Is there something in the make up from flat to gloss?
Yes.. gloss is the way to go! Flat is fussy. No matter the brand. If you feel like you must use it. Then you will probably have to pre-heat your bullets to about 140° then toss them in the powder shake them fast get them out dust them off. Do this in small batches until you get it right. And then don’t buy flat again😐 hope you had a great Christmas!

Which one is better? And which one is sharper at long range? Sv13 or sv46?

This SVBony is a step up compared to the Athlon Talos spotter and the 46P is even better.
What Vortex would it compare to? Diamondback HD, Viper, Razor?
