Just curious, why choose almond flour as the starch for this recipe? I would think something like all purpose, potato or rice flour would be safer ingredients for most as far as GI tract agreement goes. Absolutely no offense meant, just thought it was odd that almond was your go to for dog treats haha

WHY do you use almond flour in most recipes? I use coconut flour when almond flour is called.🐶💖

I use it a lot because it's a healthy grain-free option that works well in a lot of baked goods. But the downside is that it's expensive. In recipes like this, you can totally swap the flour!

Hey Melissa. That is not how to crack an egg. You should crack it on a flat surface so that it reduces the chances of shells going in the mixture. This is a cute recipe though. Thanks, PDM.
