Wonderful review, this sounds lovely! I feel similarly re: recent changes in fragrance taste - this last year I find myself gravitating uncharacteristically toward lighter, breezier, more feminine scents. A big departure from my previous darker, woodier, denser, more unisex loves. I'm surprising myself with what I'm reaching for most these days 💖
Thanks Ruby, yes I think it must be a phase we go through - this is why I want to slow down with buying and decluttering, I may go through phases but I think I will end up circling back to the woody, darker scents eventually. Its good to have variety.
Lovely review ! I, too, have surprised myself by returning to an old favorite, Red by Hugo Boss. It has a deep plum/stone fruit note which is a departure from the amber/honey/oud and tobacco scents I've been wearing for the last 4 months. I also reached for my Eaudemoiselle de Givenchy Absolu d'Oranger a few days ago. Perhaps this is a subconscious reflex that winter in the deep freeze of N America is soon to come to an end? One could only hope....Appreciating this new direction for your channel.

A healthy note description 😄 Love "fluffy" as a fragrance descriptor. ☁ Usually reserved for choice musks and powdery florals, but people might be surprised! Another excellent review Cherie.

I believe cashmere wood is the same as Ambroxin. Maybe that is the freshness?
I ordered a Goldfield and Banks discovery set and sadly this fragrance wasn't included. But I keep watching reviews from UA-camrs who have tried it and several seem to have similar tastes to my own and so I am thinking of getting a small bottle as a blind buy. I do love the pink pepper note, and I do enjoy fruit notes so I think it will be a good blind buy. And yes I am in the USA.
You should be able to get a sample of it now as it has been released in the US :) I’ve also even seen some overseas counterparts with travel sizes so you don’t need to blind buy the full bottle 🤗
