Jeff Beck's passing has me rediscovering my guitar hero's, Stevie Ray Vaughan in particular since I saw Beck and Vaughan in '89 together with Jeff Healey opening for a guitar fans triple bill. I've rediscovered someone I did not appreciate enough in Mick Ronson, a great guitar player, fabulous musician, and catalyst to David Bowie's success. Mick's style is unique; I can't find enough of him as I study his music and instrumental expertise. I would not argue with anyone saying he belongs on the Mt Rushmore of guitar players in history.
this song will forever stick in my head ... i was 4 in 1974 and always loved the part Wham Bam Thank You Mam ... my Mom heard me singing that part and back handed me for singing it ...
sounds good to me, this one is in a long line of stuff I want to learn, thanks Marty your vid will make it quicker for me, good camera position cheers mate.
lovely! btw-- what's your sentiment towards venturing into virtual mashups with Bandhub :) I always play percussion ... You and I might perform together at bandhub! That'll be excellent!

Always loved this song. Was 14 when it came out. Instant hit. Still rocks hard. Early 70s was a good era for tunes.
Thanks for the lesson!
You ripped that one as it should be done. Outstanding. Thanks to you, I've got the tune down after a few tries. Many thanks.

Just come across this. Well played!
Really tight playing Mate! Just started learning this and will keep trying until I get close to this. Mick would highly approve!!

Cheers, never used Bandhub, but I'm up for anything!
Mick Ronson was an all- time great. Lately getting more of the attention and fame he deserved.
It's a shame that he died almost penniless considering the great influence he had on Bowie's early success.
Is that a XTC tshirt man? Sounds cool
If you do not have a Les Paul just forget about it
The first attempt was Poor.. Have you ever played that way on a Stage?? I would have kept auditioning guitarists.
I agree
Great job, you've inspired me to learn this now. Thanks!
Great cover !
