Unless you're self hosting, staking is itself taking a gamble on the service provider. Restaking just sounds throwing darts in the dark. Remember when you stake or restake, you've essentially sold your crypto for the staking token on the basis that they give you more in return.
And this is different from a banks low percentage returns on a savings acct how? Banks crash too. Its all abput doing the homework and finding the most trustworthy and reliable source. I will say, restaking is a bit of a gamble but staking itself with crypto that is well established can be a good move if you are a hodler. If you are day trading or want immediate liquidity not so much.
Great explanation as usual. Restaking is one of the major narratives for 2024. Recently, Persistence One also took an important step and announced that it will bring restaking to Cosmos.
Great video! Debating on going thru with this myself as I just heard of it. What happens if you sign up with the whole lockup restriction in regards to cashing in your stETH thru Lido?Thank you!
I love when people call something up Ponzi scheme when there’s no Ponzi present. The whole idea can seem similar to a Ponzi scheme, but the issue with a Ponzi scheme is that there is a person at the back end, who is profiting and stealing all the money. In a decentralized landscape, there is no individual actor who is perpetrating this, so how is it a Ponzi scheme? If nobody is there to pull the rug, then how is it going to fail?
Actually, the same is done in traditional finance. Essentially, restaking is using the same asset as a collateral for 2 (or more) networks or dApp, like re-hypothecation can lead to leveraged financial positions (making derivatives).
What other liquid restaking platforms do you recommend?? 👇
any re-staking platforms you can feature? Eigenlayer already closed new participants for re-staking.

One can infinetly restake, sounds spooky
This is the worst idea ever. I'll be watching patiently as it implodes. It will be glorious.
Please don't stop doing videos.

Hi I've invested but I'm lost totally because of some issues after putting 2k I needed to add money again then I stopped I'm not sure what to do now
A new way to double spend. Thanks for the warning. 😅

Looks like staking deposit is paused.
Never touch any Indian project
and add more dumping power
Esto se va a descontrolar!
you call it magic, i call it ponzi
Because you dont know how securing blockchain works. You don't have to call something you don't understand a ponzi.
