I've been struggling with understanding what Eigenlayer is really all about for months now. And tags like 'AVS' hasn't been helpful either. But watching your video changes everything. In fact, I'm so interested in learning more about restaking on Ethereum rn. Thank you for putting this together. Solid work! You got a subscriber. Watching another video ASAP!
Subscribed after I watch this video. The detailed explanation makes more sense to people like me ! Thanks Jarrod, I hope you keep moving to explain complicated web3 matter to people through flows, scanerios and sample.
Sub...like...and a notification bell! Amazing content I wish I would have found this when you first dropped it. I was having such a hard time really understanding all this restaking Eigenlayer stuff!
Nice Guild! loop could be the most underrated play in the restaking narrative. Loop provides a chance to enhance LRT and Pendle yields through carry trades, all with minimal liquidation risk.
You fail to explain HOW it does all this. Do I put ETH in EigenLayer, or stETH? Where are the funds actually when they are used to secure multiple networks? At EigenLayer? Staked in the ETH network? If the latter, then how are they slashed if there is a misbehaviour in another network once they are already locked up in the Ethereum network? Or does it just use stETH? In that case it’s just a fancy hub for leveraged staking.
great video, thanks for your work. but I have question, what if the developer's service cannot pay enough reward to the operator. their service has no bug, but just not popular, cannot pay promised rewards to operator. ethereum doesn't have such problem, because it can mint eth, which is regarded valuable by the community. however, in this restaking process, what is restaked isn't the native token of the service, but some Liquidity Receipt Token, such as stETH, which cannot be created from thin air.
I have a maybe naive question. could anyone be so good to give me some explainations? in restaking, where do the extras rewards on top of the normal staking rewards come from? are these restaking rewards in ether? if they are in ether, where do they come from? because the avs(the software newly developed) registered on eigenlayer do not have any impact on how the ether supply of the underlying ethereum chain works.
So EigenLayer is more like a service contractor to connect new projects with the already running big Ethereum Operators. They're promising new projects, they have a big pool of operators with validators and tell the operators to come join EigenLayer because they have plenty new projects with juicy rewards. Right?
Can someone explain how you can stake your ETH and get stakedETH in return and it somehow equals something more than net 0? If you give me gold and I give you fakeGold how is that any different from the billions of stETH being given for $ETH?

hey bro I'm also learning about ethereum restaking, would love to exchange notes?
Yeah this video was great for the explanation. Thanks, Jarrod!
How has it been for you? Have you learned much?
@@vrushangdesaiyes I'd like it, if you would...

Nice review mate, was so so helpful! keep doing these videos 🙏
Dude, this was so thorough! Thank you for all the background info at the beginning too.
This is such an excellent description and analysis of EigenLayer - could totally be a substitute of the whitepaper. Thanks Jarod 🙌
Best explanation on this topic I've seen.
Thank you for your great work!
Well done...we need more reviewers like yourself in Defi!
Amazing job! Best deep dive on topic I have seen! Thanks

Absolutly helpful content. I really appreciate your work and research for making this video. Keep it up!

I am so glad i found your channel. It's a gold mine!
Excellent explanations and so thorough. Thank you😊
this is a excellent vedio containing many valuable and enlightening thoughts of the author, thank you indeed.

True, no answers for real questions, even "What Is EigenLayer?" is not answered. Entire video could be shrinked to 10 minutes.
Thanks a lot man. Really helpful. Great deep dive
great video, thanks for your work.

Keep up the good work ser. Always love your content.
Tanks man you realy did a amazyng job here
Great explainer. Enjoyed it!
okay this was a very good breakdown!
This was an outstanding explanation
Great explanation... Keep em coming
10/10 content, love your channel. Would love a break down vid of Frames on Farcaster
fantastic work, really helpful!
high quality value, thank you for this info.

This Video is the one-stop guide to eigenLayer

Hi, can we now take off the Eth from Eigen Layer and still get the airdrop? Want to move it to Etherfi. Thanks
Is there any min amount of eth that we have to spend on restaking on eigen layer inorder to get a confirmed airdrop?
great job !
Thanks for an interesting video! Maybe a stupid question - but would EigenLayer token be available to be bought on an exchange?
There’s no token currently. Likely based on their points system they’ll release one at some point in the future
Nice one. What type of AVS you’re most looking forward to?
Is this airdrop actually happening? Big influencers are saying it is but in the Discord the admins are saying there will be no airdrop...
great deep dive, love you jarrod for teaching us
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it
Bro what is your highest low cap conviction play at the moment?
What is the difference between Eigen and $ETHFI ?
Is it possible to restake through EigenLayer when you have a solo staking DappNode setup?
I believe it should be possible with their native restaking with EigenPods
Can someone explain how you can stake your ETH and get stakedETH in return and it somehow equals something more than net 0?
If you give me gold and I give you fakeGold how is that any different from the billions of stETH being given for $ETH?
great video, i liked your twitter thread as well
Great video. Thank you.
Very helpful thanks
Great video bro
Good content mate
Love it, thanks m8. Could you also make some coding related videos with your EVMKit?
Thank you so much.
51st...Thanks Jarrod. Any plans of doing more thirdweb tutorials?
this is a deeeeep dive into it
Very useful video. Would just suggest not showing your face constantly as it blocks the slides. Thanks,
Baller
