@@pompi23851 smart contracts security will always represent a risk. I was thinking more of liquidity risks.
They talked about the risks involved namely slashing. If you delegate to an operator that is malicious they get a portion of their ETH and thus your ETH slashed.

Nothing different than just staking Eth on a specific node (that is trusted). This is just a way of over-diluting a native token to make more money by creating more abstract layers (which adds cost).
Like everyone involved in Eth doesn't earn enough money.
