You're doing a fantastic job! Just a quick off-topic question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
Thanks! I’m not sure about your question though 🧐
Hola Luis otra vez desde España. Gran vídeo, curioso de comparar US vs UE.
Welcome to the Tesla Fam. I had saved so much as well. The only why I could modify my MYLR.
Happy to join the club! 🤝
@ you in Seattle area?
The video trurly feels like a really high quality one, as one of your first vids it is really impressive, you either have lots of experience already or a talent. Personally i think the video could have a little bit of a faster pace overall, you should cut a couple of seconds from all the shots, it would make the video more interesting for me
Thanks, I really appreciate the feedback and support. I’ll continue working on the pacing for future videos! 🤝
The way the video is organized is the reason why its doing good!
Thank you!
In your case I would get the Tesla charger for ur house asap, $34.92 a month and Im digging ur content lowkey good information
Thanks, I appreciate it!
Highly recommend you install a third-party motorized frunk lid kit. Drastically increases the usability of it.
I’ll look into it! Do you have any recommendations?
tbh i think paying 8k up front for selfdrive is not smart , you can use that 8k put it into stock market and make the money back, $99 a month is only 1.2k a year that will take almost 7 years to reach 8k. 7 years you can more than triple that 8k you put in. Huge difference, if you are lucky you can even make 80k plus with it
That’s a good point, it was definitely a tough call!
How much does it cost to own a Tesla up in the San Diego mountains like Ramona or Pine Valley?
That’s a great question! I’d be curious about the cost of ownership in those areas too
Respect for taking the plunge with no level 2 home charging. The quote for level 2 at my home was $9k. Wish I had a Tesla supercharger closer than 15 minutes but I do have Electrify America 2’mins away. Still on the fence!
I’ll install a level two charger at your house for like 200 bucks.
@@RONderluck sold. I’ll actually give you $500 lol

Man with the quality of this video I would’ve thought you’ve been making videos for years! Welcome to being a creator! Awesome video. Can’t wait until I get a model 3 performance!
Thank you! I had been putting it off for years, happy I finally got started

I’m 22 and I live in Maryland. I am planning on getting a Tesla model 3 by the end of 2025. Like you, it was the cheaper monthly cost to own a Tesla that has convinced me to go electric. I do a lot of weekly driving and I hate paying $50-60 for gas every week. I basically figured out that while yes, buying a Tesla is more expensive with the monthly payment and insurance. It does offer much lower maintenance and fueling costs and for a young person like myself I would rather have higher fixed costs than higher unpredictable costs. Such as the cost of gas and maintenance. And for myself, I am getting a pre-owned Tesla between 2021-2023 which will offer a lower monthly cost. All in all, teslas are a great option…
Yea most Tesla chargers here are 47 cents kwh so way cheaper with gas or charge at home , 10 cents😀
My super chargers is only $0.13 per kWH
monthly payments: I am beginning to face this now as an 80 yo. How will I stop these payments when I die? Newspapers, magazines etc. and of course, Tesla premium subscriptions.
You have once again blown me away; 5.5k views in 3 days is even more insane than my first video! So, if you're reading this, thank you for being here! A quick note about the intent of this video: I am not here to sell you a Tesla or tell you what is reasonable for you to spend on a car. Ultimately, only you know your finances. Always carefully consider large purchases, run the numbers for your situation, and only buy what makes the most financial sense to you. My goal here was to share my numbers so you could see the full cost of ownership and not only think about the monthly payment advertised. With that said, I appreciate all the conversations in the comments! If you own a Tesla and are open to sharing how much it costs you to own, the more data points we have, the better decisions we can collectively help others make. Now, back to working on the next vid! 🫡
Keep it up dude i would of bought a 2020 model s for half the price but hey your wife probably wanted the new one
That 0 apr is for excellent credit
Here in the uk 🇬🇧 they are way too much money Starting from £60k 😳 definitely not worth that much
and you guys get screwed in the power and performance dept vs the US.
@ yeh but they advertise that it goes 0-60 2.9 seconds here in uk 🇬🇧 In every video they never reach them times so that’s false advertising 🤷🏻♂️
Jesus Christ How can people just thow 71k on a depreciable asset beats the fuck out of me , you can buy perfectly good cars for 15-20k, this dude needs to watch Dave Ramsey asap
You absolutely can buy great cars at that price range, but when you have a well funded emergency fund, retirement accounts, and a good career, you can choose to enjoy your life too. Dave Ramsey has some good advice, but his methods aren’t for everyone lol
@Luis.Gonsalez what do you do for work ?
Wow your insurance is cheap. I pay $333 a month for my 2023 MYP with a clean record in NJ. The only thing stopping me from getting another Tesla is the insurance cost. I also drive 12 mins away to charge the car once a week. Give it a year and you'll see it's annoying even though the car is fantastic.
It’s insane how much the insurance for a Tesla varies across the country! I hear you, hopefully I can figure out reliable home charging before it gets too annoying lol
@@Luis.Gonsalez Yeah it’s crazy high for Teslas. Same here having a home charger is a game changer.
Panda! I agree you get used the new controls fast but it's really annoying when you have to drive a gas car.
Yes! Switching between our gas vehicle and the Tesla has been quite the challenge at times 😂
Tesla ❤
Man, you could talk about the most concern about Tesla: depreciation I am planning to buy one Model 3, but the depreciation is too high….
I hear you they do depreciate quickly, but that also means you can find used ones even on Tesla’s own website for a better deal!
Buy used, lease new. The new Model 3 LR AWD with nothing down is just over $500mo for 15k/yr. That's an outsanding value in terms of leasing.
Panda panda panda
🐼 🐼 🐼
The only thing holding me back from a M3 DM is the cost of insurance. AAA wants $300 a month to insure a M3 DM. Way too much. I hear Tesla insurance is cheaper but they won't give me a quote without placing an order for a car. Pretty stupid.
for tesla insurance you have to drive like a grandma for it to be worth it
😂😂😂
That’s really expensive for insurance! Have you shopped around to see what other insurance company’s rates are?
I have full coverage on my model three and it’s only $93 a month
@@RONderluck what part of the country do you live? Here in San Diego, you ain’t gonna get that price, especially if you live up here in the mountains, close to a fire zone, like Cleveland national Forest.
Hey. what will happen if the screen gets broken? Is there another way to put the car into drive, etc?
There actually is, there are some slightly hidden drive controls in between the top lights, right in front of the rear view mirror
might blow your mind... i pay .09c per kw and after 500kw is .15c for home electricity. Norcal. non-pge.
That’s crazy!! Can’t wait until I get home charging setup and see how much I save
Very good info, well presented! I got my ‘21 M3 SR+ in March of that year, so have had it for 3.5 years. Approaching 50,000 miles in the next week or so. Love this car! My wife’s VW ID4 PRO and my M3 use about $60/mo each in electricity each month with Level 2 home charging. (The past 31 days have cost me $19.00 for my Tesla). Compared to the $400-$500+ (in CA) we were paying for gas each month for our two Toyotas, the ~$120/mo to charge both cars is a bargain. Plus it’s as easy as charging the phone! It takes about 60 seconds of my time to charge them both - the time it takes me to plug them in at night and unplug them in the morning. 👍🏼 Highly recommend getting that L2 at home if you can. (There used to be a federal tax credit for getting charging set up at home, but don’t know if that still exists or not.) Also, check with your utility to see if they offer any EV rebates or discounts - we get $0.015 off our non-peak rate for charging during those hours. FSD: don’t have it. I do like the included auto pilot (ACC) for long road trips (my longest so far was a round trip from Sacramento > Louisville @ 5,500 miles!). Premium Connectivity: for the money, this is $ well spent IMHO. If it was $10/ea for the services, I’d be a lot more picky 😂. But $10/mo for that suite of goodies is a bargain. Performance: that was $14K more when I got mine (also this is my first ever EV), so… no. But I’m extremely happy with the performance my poor man’s Tesla gives, and, being retired, I love the efficiency it gives! Look forward to more of your videos!
I really appreciate you taking the time to share your ownership experience in detail! That’s so awesome that you are able to save so much with your EVs. I’ll definitely be looking into a home charger setup as soon as I can! FSD is really cool but also super niche. Although I have to say it does bring my inner nerd a ton of happiness being driven around like we’re living in the future lol. Thanks for being here and sharing your thoughts. Looking forward to more conversations with you in future videos!!
@ Long live your inner nerd!
Damn for 100 more bucks a month you could get that cyber
Great video, sir. Straight to the point with great information. Thank you.
Thank you!! Happy you found it valuable, thanks for being here! 🤝
Bro you will have buyers remorse, I had model 3 lr and model y performance teslas are over rated not worth the hype, for the cost of them and charging if you charge at at super charger it’s the same or sometimes even more then filling up with gas!! I went back to gas and glad I did no more waiting 20 min if it’s busy and another 20-30 min charging, plus you also wasted money on fsd, it’s totally not worth it for 8k even 5k not worth it!! And last thing is the depreciation your car is going to be worth 30k in 2 years or less, and for those reasons I went back to gas, plus you will get beat by bmws and other fast cars on the freeway teslas suck on top end power!!!! And you’re a fool for paying over a $1k a month for a car totally not worth it especially a Tesla like a said they are over rated and not worth it
I appreciate you sharing your thoughts. I think our situations are a bit different. I didn’t buy this car for the hype, I actually enjoy super charging (I’ve started using the time to script new videos!), FSD is super cool and brings my inner nerd much happiness, I’m not trying to beat BMWs or other fast cars on the freeway (there are tracks for those things lol), all cars depreciate, so in my opinion it’s about enjoying and being grateful for what you own as long as you can comfortably afford it. Thankfully, I am and that’s why I made this video, to make sure others could understand the real numbers of owning a Tesla. Thanks for being here!
“Bro” I bought a Tesla Model 3 LR AWD for 45,520 after tax credit and all cost of registration and state sale tax. Brand new Toyota Camry hybrid XSE was $47,000 out the door. And it cost me $45 per month to drive 1,500 miles. I charge it I’m my garage for $0.12 per 1kWh.
Accessories
I don’t like subscription models either but they’re optional.
That’s true, I just needed to vent my frustration with all these subscription-based service models for a second lol
buying fsd was stupid
Noted lol
Thanks for this video! I’m waffling on purchasing my first EV and this really helped
Of course, thanks for being here! That’s exactly why I made this video, helping others see the real numbers month to month. Glad you found it valuable 🫡
EVs cost more to register than gas-powered vehicles in WA. EVs can also lose up to 50% of their value in one year! 🙂🙂🙂
That’s true! Maybe I’ll make a follow up video in a year that includes depreciation and tab renewal fees 🤔
That's old minded thinking. I bet your bmw leaking rn as we speak
@AlanTrades 😂😂😂
@AlanTrades Yeah it’s true. I had had a 2011 BMW 328i xDrive for 4 years. It was 2 years old when I bought it for $29,000. MSRP for new was $52,000. So after 2 year lost 40%. Sold it after 4 years for $9,500. Adding depreciation in 6 years this POS BMW lost 80% of its value in 6 years. Thats impressive 🤣
@michalstelmach4203 that's why people sell bmws right before warranty expires at 45k miles. Younger folks buy them and end up paying more for timing chain issues and leaks.
Its absolutely not worth it to have a Tesla if you are not charging at home or at work. Im speaking form experience I own a model 3. If you are only doing supercharging you will not save much money compared to gas from the amount of times you will be charging and wasting time at the supercharger. Also note if your car says 250 mile range your not really getting the exact 250 miles because running ac, your driving habits etc affects range drastically. If it says 250 miles you might only be getting 170 miles. Just leaving sentry mode over night I will lose 5%. theres alot of other variables that just one example. Time is money so my advice is if you cant have a level 2 charger at home or be able to charge at work dont buy an electric car maybe a hybrid would be better choice. Btw great video 👍
You make an excellent point! The goal is definitely to have at home charging in the next year or two and really maximize gas savings and time. Appreciate your thoughtful comment! How long have you had your model 3? Have you noticed a drop in overall range since you first got it?
Even at a supercharger you’ll still save. 50% added to a model Y only cost me $7.80. At best that’s 3 gallons of gas.
Where I live in Bangkok, my electricity prices are tiered. Our monthly usages is high so our average is about ฿20 to ฿25 per Kw with a high of ฿35. ($1 = ฿34). Supercharger rates are currently ฿7.17/KWh. As you can see it cost us quite a bit more to charge at home, so we are paying for the convenience to charge at home. Again, this is mainly because our consumption at monthly is quite high. It’s high enough that charging our model Y at home is not detectable on our electric bill. Even though Tesla has given Thailand Superchargers population very low priority, we still fill up there when convenient because it’s like a free tank!
Just one more thing I note; what every the problems that people find with their Telsla's, they all say at the end, what a wonderful car to drive. Every day I look for reasons to go for a drive; it is brilliant.
The cost of the renewal of registration at 700 in California is terrible!
That’s crazy!! I’ve been avoiding looking at the renewal rates for an EV here in Washington lol
Do the driving experience video next pretty please!
i want to know more about the drving experience pleaseeee
You got it, coming up soon. Stay tuned! 🫡
Panda and I love your video. You did a phenomenal job reviewing.
I really appreciate your feedback!! Thanks for being here! 🤝
This car is brutal… the model 3 dual long range with acceleration boost more than enough for daily driver… imo
Absolutely, even in chill mode this car is faster than most other cars I’ve owned or driven lol
great video Brutus!
OMG "the boat" hahaha! What an upgrade 😄
Massive upgrade! Like going from a boat to a rocket 😂
I’m currently paying $106-108 every 6 days for my truck for commuting thats in California with the $$ im paying im going to sell it. With 3 months free super charging thats $1,272 in my pocket.
Whoa! That’s a ton for commuting!! Definitely look into EVs and if that would work for you. If you’re looking at Tesla specifically, you can get a bit extra off your purchase price with our referral code. Appreciate you watching!
I had a truck I spent $200-$300 a month just to go to work and gym. I couldn’t afford to travel around it was too expensive! Now with the tesla I pay $50-$100 to commute a month but now I have the freedom to travel anywhere without killing my pockets
@@luiscedano123 yeah thats the same thing I’m thinking about right now im def making the switch by December it just doesn’t make sense to own a car and you can’t use it for what’s it for which is to go places and travel and enjoy your life when you aren’t working.
If my calculations are correct you could have saved $2000 over the life of loan by buying FSD as a subscription rather than financing it. Financing $56k rather than $64k saves you about $500 in interest over the life of the loan and $120/month in payments. FSD is only $99/month so that would have been $500+72*$20 or nearly $2k in savings.
That sounds about right! I appreciate you doing those calculations lol. It was definitely a really tough call. At the time, Tesla was offering a “free” paint color upgrade which was $1,000 if you purchased FSD and it would allow me to still get the federal tax credit. I’m hoping to own this car well past the loan term and don’t have a lot of confidence Tesla is going to keep FSD at $99/month for the next 6+ years. Thanks again for the calculations, I should have cover that in the video!
@@Luis.Gonsalez yeah that does change the calculation and there is the assumption that the FSD subscription stays at $99/month.
I have the model y duel motor since August. If you don't have a mobile charger I would suggest you get one.We charge exclusively on standard outlet it works for me and my needs.Any home charger time is way cheaper than none.
I’ve been thinking about getting one for the time being! How much charge do you get overnight?
You do have to pay $99+tax so might be like $109 with tax depending on the state.
Congrats on the first video! I drove the Tesla M 3 Performance a few weeks ago and it was amazing. As soon as i can afford to buy one i'll pull the trigger and get it. The price seem very affordable too, for a car with apple level technology in the infotainment and BMW M3 performance when it comes to speed. It was the first E-vehicle i drove and i'm very surprised how much i liked it.
Thanks!! Definitely the best bang for your buck for all the tech and performance you get! If you don’t get FSD and qualify for the federal tax credit (while it lasts) it can be pretty affordable! I just made a video on how much it costs me so you can learn from my mistakes lol
Dude 1k a month is insane and you put nothing down should not be normalized lmao.. And the fact you pay $1k a month, and an additional $165 a month of insurance is insane. I pay $130 a month for insurane for my 24 M3P and $350 a month for finance. Bro... lmao
Agreed, not putting anything down should not be normalized. But at 1.99% I can have my money work more for me in a high yield savings or invested. Insurance in my area must just be a lot more expensive if you have the same coverage. How much did you put down if you don’t mind me asking?
@@Luis.Gonsalez sorry but spending $1,000 a month on a car is not a justified reason making your money “work” off 2% APR, that’s not how that works bro..
You misunderstood what I wrote. Instead of putting 20 or 30k down on the car. I have that money in a high yield savings account currently earning 5% APY, effectively netting 3% over having that money in the car simply for a lower monthly payment. But I get it, some people only look at the monthly payment
@@Luis.Gonsalez You do you. At the end of the day you can have millions and people will still bitch about financing a car. You should of done this or that stfu. Enjoy your new ride! the longer you keep it the more its worth it.
@@Luis.Gonsalezdo you bro don’t listen to idiots
You did it luisito! Thank you for putting this together! Just pre ordered mine in ultra red with white interior. Still waiting to get assigned a vin !
Thank you so much for the support! Congrats, that is going to be one good looking car!
Yes sir ! Thank you 🙏
Damm, I'd still really want that thing... Personally i would prefer a driving video but strategically it might be better to take it slow and do an accessories vid
You make a good point! Maybe a holiday gift guide for Tesla owners 🤔
